QOTD

QOTD

Morning Ladies - Sorry I am a bit late. It has been a crazy morning so far. So - here are our questions of the day:

1. If you live with FH, what do you think the most exciting thing/biggest change will be once you are married. Also, what do you plan to do to make the big day extra special (even though you are already sharing a place) and ensure life changes after?

2. If you do not not live with FH yet, what makes you (a) most nervous and (b) most excited about moving in together post-wedding.

Have a great Tuesday!

I don't live with FH- just a personal choice of mine. Anyways, I look forward to waking up with him every morning. I look forward to having dinner with him every night. I look forward to just being married and living with him. I am nervous about living with someone. I am like an only child in a way because my siblings are much older than me. I have always had my own floor in my house and did things the way I wanted to. So, I know I am going to have to adjust some things.

We live together, have been for 2 years and will have been living together almost 4 years by the time we are married. I am not sure much will change at all. It will definitely be great to be able to call him my husband and take his name. I guess the biggest changes in our relationship will be combining finances, saving to buy a house, and thinking about having children!

I have been living with the fh for 2 years... I feel like we are married already...we own a house together, we share everything so in my eyes we are married now all i need is that paper and his last name

by the time we get married it will be almost 2 years that we've been living together. the biggest change will be my last name and OMG this is it for the rest of our lives, which is fine but still a big deal. we're not planning on doing anything special the wedding will be special enough. just trying to ride the waves as they come.

Fh and I already live together and have been for about a year and a half. I don't think a lot will change once we are married. Except that I will finally be out of school and working a real job-which I think will be an adjustment for both of us. We'll also start planning our life together. We plan on consulting with a financial planner and start saving for a house. Possibly also moving out of NY.

We're not living together yet but we use to and I guess I'm most afraid of getting tired of one another.. spending TOO much time together and things become routine and boring.. FH spent a week with me once and I was so happy when he finally left.. I needed my space back. But I think we're each pretty busy on the weekdays with our own lives so I'm hoping it won't be a problem.

So funny - FH and I don't live together and we were just talking about this last night!

Most nervous is having to share my bed every night... while it's a good thing I feel like it's going to be hard sharing my bed all the time and ageeing on bedtimes. I need my sleep!

b. Most excited is being able to see him every day... he coaches 2 HS teams and I just got a second job so sometimes during the week we don't get to see each other. it will be nice to know he'll always be there.

My FH lives in New Jersey while I live in Brooklyn. The long drive will be something that we definitely look forward to no longer doing. I'm excited the most for just being with him all the time. I only see him once or twice a week and I tend to miss him alot. I'm most nervous about FMIL and his family's church beliefs. He is a Seventh-Day Adventist and I'm non-denominational. They have alot of beliefs that I have to learn to take into consideration when dealing with them.

Aww sharing the bed can be rough, especially if FH snores like mine!! You get used to it though. We have lived together for a year now, I think the biggest changes after the wedding will be looking fo a house instead of staying in our apartment and my last name!

I live with FH and we have been living together for almost 2 years now. I love living with him. I think one of the biggest things that will change for us is combining our finances and having pictures of our wedding day all over the house. Using our China, maybe hosting more holidays at our house. I am just so excited to call him my Husband and we are most likely going to get a puppy once we get back from our Honeymoon and then of course start saving to buy a home and start thinking about babies!!!!!!! AHH so many changes!! I love it!

I dont live with FH yet, we will begin looking for an apartment a month or two before the wedding. I am looking forward to finally being able to have all of my stuff in one place. Currently, I have to keep going back and forth from my parents house each morning because there is no space for my belongings in his room. I feel like a bag lady all the time!

It will be interesting to see how we handle day to day responsibilites once we move in together. I'm nervous that we'll clash a bit. He's very meticulous and structured. I'm more laid back and free-flowing. We've already discussed our 'duties'. Laundry and bathrooms for him (my two least favorite things to do) and attempting to learn to cook and cleaning and organizing for me.

I'm most afraid of cooking. I don't know what I'm doing and FH is used to his mom's home cooked meals every night.

We are moving in together soon, and I think the most exciting thing for us is that we won't have to constantly coordinate our schedules to see each other, and we won't feel guilty about making plans with other people or with each other and miss out on other things because we'll always see each other at the end of the night, even if it's only for 2 minutes.

The thing I'm most nervous about...money. We can afford to live at the place, but it'll be tough leading up to the wedding because of all the things we will need to get for that, and we also have pretty much no furniture so we'll be trying to save for that and save for the wedding. I'm afraid of a lot of arguments because FH is poor with money management, and while I can manage my money, I like to spend a lot too. Bad combination.

Ive decided to wait to move in because I really want to stick tohis families values. They all wait till they are married to live together (my family is the opp) and I think it would be awesome that when we start our lives, that day we start to live together!

Although at times I want to throw in the towel lol

I don't live with FH. The thing I most look forward to is coming home to him after work and waking up with him in the morning - Just being married and starting our lives together. The thing I am most nervous about is maintaining a household - cooking, cleaning and working full time. I don't know how to cook and that makes me VERY NERVOUS But I'll learn.

I don't live with FH yet, but we will be moving in together a year before the wedding (this Oct)

I am nervous about not having enough personal space and getting on each others nerves. Perhaps it will make me get out of the house more often though

I would like some ideas to have things be different once we do get married, but I have no idea what.

I live with FH and have been for 1.5 years now. I don't think a single thing will change other than trying to get out of our place and into a house of our own.
