Good Morning ladies and gents! Hope you all had a good night, I know you knuckle heads were out cuz I was on here when hardly anyone else was, Im a looser with no money O wellll, lol, Happy Saturday!
****So, I know the question has been asked a thousand times, that if money was no object, etc, etc... but today's QOTD is...If you had a million dollars and were planning a DESTINATION wedding, what would it entail? Details!****
So, I would still have my ceremony here at home because my family is just not the cool family, can live it up with the young crowd type and I they just wouldnt get the whole scene of the destination part of the wedding. So ok, onto the reception...although there are a million stunning places in the world for a backdrop for a wedding, its my opinion that no place throws a party like South Beach, FL! Vegas is cool but me and Fh are definately more into South Beach. So, it would be at the Loews Hotel, and the reception would be at the hotels pool which opens to the beach as well. There would be fire throwers on the beach, there would be the most amazing food from Emerils restaurant which is in the hotel, I would have a world renowned dj play pool side. The reception would have no end and breakfast would be served in the morning when everyone could also get in their bathing suits and go in the pool, lol. I would totally hire security guards to let other hotel guests know that its a private party, lol. I would have ice bars everywhere. OMg, I can go on and on. I just know that South Beach would be the place for us. We would put everyone up in the hotel and we would have the sickest suite!

Hmmm..the posibilities are endless lol. i think it would be fun to get married at Cindarella's Castle in Disney World. OR I would like to have my own cruise ship in the Carribean. with only all wedding guests..like a long weekend.

Mine would DEFINITELY be Cinderella's Castle.....hands down. It was always my dream as a little kid to have a Disney Fairy Tale wedding with all the works - the castle, gown, horse & carriage ride, etc.

Id probably do it in Hawaii and fly all of my guests out there and put them up in hotels. Id have amazing flowers, amazing food and tons of it. Like Mrs Soto said, I would probably still want to do the ceremony in Long Island since I am getting married in a church. Alot of the other stuff Id keep the same, I would keep the rest of my vendors and fly them out too!

i would't have a destination wedding. I know im weird... I am definitly not a traveler so i wouldn't be into it. If I had all the money in the world i prob would have looked at oheka castle...lol

I would do it in Italy, hands down...Rent a villa for a while, bring my family out and get married in the country side, maybe down by Trieste somewhere to honor my grandfather or Milan near where my family is...

i dont think i would change anything... im happy.
if money wasnt an object, i wuld fly all my fam that lives all over the world to come.. but as i think about it..money isnt an object to them.. they just have no interest in coming to america..
so im a lil bitter about that.. but supposedly some will be flying, obviously not te ones from australia... but hey, u never hknow.

I would have our wedding in Newport, RI where I went to school...at the Castle Hill Inn on Ocean Drive. It's amazing there!! But like 300pp

I wouldnt change anything about my wedding, I would keep it where it is but fly in all my parents and Fh's family from europe.

oooh definitely an old castle in ireland!!
it would have to be in the summer otherwise we'd be freezing our bums off!!
have an outdoor wedding on the sea on a high cliff.. honeymoon around the world pay for everyone to come to ireland!! shop for my dress in like paris or milan bachelorette party in mexico (minus the swine flu)... maybe like in Spain or something! lol
I dunno.. the possibilities are endless!!

Ditto 100% I can't say I loved it as I have never been there but I would want the ceremony on the island of Capri. I would want the pre-wedding events (welcome party, ) in Tuscany in various wineries... I would take everyone to Venice to see it's charm and have the RD on a boat, and also go to Rome,... bc, well its Rome.... but definatly ceremony on a bluff over looking the water on the island of Capri

We're already having a 'MINI-destination' wedding (Connecticut, so when I say mini I mean mini lol)
However, I wouldn't choose to have it anywhere else. I do NOT fly.
