First, your responses to yesterday's QOTD were awesome. Loved hearing all about my fellow LIWbrides.
Today's question...
We will keep this one easy, what is everyone's color scheme and/ or theme for their wedding? What are you planning on doing to pull it all together?
Our colors are navy/peach and ivory. The girly version of the mets colors because FH is a mets fan and that's where we had our first date. I'm a Yankee fan so there was no way we would have the standard blue and orange. That's why it's navy. I'm thinking having royal blue, navy and peach mixed up between the mom's, and BMs.
My flowers will def be peach and ivory. Not a fan of dark colored flowers. (In the Hispanic culture it's bad luck)
I'm looking forward to reading your responses, I'm sure everyone has beautiful color combos!
Originally we had the exact same color scheme as you! But that was when we were having a fall wedding and now that it'll be august, I decided on something light and were on the lavender train for now lol.. Lavender bridesmaids, a tinge darker lavender for my pale pale pale MOH, purple MOB/MOG, and a mix of lavender, deep purple and ivory flowers with purple up lighting in the room. Super excited because with this color scheme I can actually picture it in my head where I couldn't before.
Sticking with a 'soft/romantic' color scheme for springtime. Pink ivory and gold. Bridesmaids are wearing a shade darker than a blush pink, (bridesmaids were not too keen on wearing the lightest pink so we went a shade darker!).Going to be mostly ivory and light pinks with touches of gold throughout!
I don't have a picture, but I am going with a purple scheme. The bridesmaids are in plum. Flowers will be different shades of purple and white :)

I am doing a fallish color scheme - the girls will be in a deep purple with fall jewel tones for the flowers

This is the color scheme I plan on doing with that exact color of the dresses you posted! I have that pinned on pinterest because it's the closest to the lavender I want. I'm not too sure whether I will do shades of purple or purple with some accent colors like light yellow. I plan to hopefully have centerpieces with some orchids in them and maybe some purple uplighting around the room. Not too sure the details of the color scheme but I know bridesmaids will be in lavender!

I've been seeing so many pretty lavender combos lately. Falling in love! FH and I passed some lilac bushes yesterday and I told him how I wish we had done purple so we could use lilacs lol

We picked our colors and theme before we were even engaged! It's actually a funny story.....fh and I were driving in the car one day and he turns to me and asks what colors I would want for the wedding. I told him i wasn't sure bc every color I wanted to do our friends have done. Royal blue, baby blue, burgundy, and red. He says well what about green.....I make this face of disgust, eww green I hate green why green.....(sorry if anyone is doing green I am just personally not a fan) not even a second later he turns around and answers me with....green was my mother's favorite color!!! ( fh mom passed away 4 yrs ago) ugh open mouth insert foot !! Now all I'm thinking is ong *** do I say to that!?!? I loved his mom that would be a nice way to honor her but come on I hate green and I plan on wearing it to (in my shoes and belt) as my brain is progressing what to saynext a cool teal color car drove by us and at the same time we said that's a nice color.....it hit me I have a solution....our favorite color is blue your mom's green....let's do teal! Lucky fit me he liked the idea!! So my girls with be in teal with ivory accents and I will be in ivory with teal accents!! That's all in know so far.lol
Edited to add theme I totally forgot about this part I.got caught up in the story about color lol We wanted something different....we are getting married on a Friday the 13 so our theme is nothing can jinx our love. Every table will be num 13 ( a, b,c will be what determines your table) for our grand entrance fh will open an umbrella and then wev will walk under a ladder ( the bridal party can too but I'd they r superstitious they can go around it and I'm going to get a pavement looking aisle running so it looks like we arec wooing on cracked pavement lol

FH wanted different shades of purple. He was really excited about this lol, so I didn't want to break his heart and say I had something else in mind. But we may consider a different color scheme. Burgundy or wine color, and a champagne color
