I wasn't even engaged yet and FH just wanted to see the price per head at Oheka Castle because we had recently been there for an FOP event. So I found pricing and I was in ! And then I kept 'stalking' until I was finally engaged 5 months later

i was googling something about wedding & this site came up. so i joined. it's really nice to be able to get opinions & advice from other brides. espcecially since i'm the first of my friends to be getting married.

My FH actually told me about it and signed up for me. He found it through a co-worker bride who was getting married at the time.

I didn't even go on the site until a couple of months after he signed me up and when I finally did all I did was rave about it to him. And he was like 'Didn't I tell you about this months ago, do you ever listen to me?''''

My FH found NYCityweddings and I signed up. He does wedding research too. He raved about it. Then I found out that LIW was the same thing. I love it. yay.

I was looking for LI vendors and came across the vendor page. I actually lurked for a while before deciding to join because it looked so helpful and a great community!

When I started planning, since I'm in VA, for info. and vendors, I put 'Long Island Weddings' into Google. Obviously, this was the first site listed!!!!

i did a google search for beachfront weddings or something, and it came up. i was like, holy crap! my prayers have been answered. i don't have any older sisters or close cousins to fill me in on wedding stuff, so this was a lifesaver.
