QOTD 5/27

Good Morning everyone

I was thinking about myself and FH, and this question came to me. Are there any differences between you and fh? And how have you overcome these differences?

Yep there are differences between us...I am a workaholic and he is really laid back! It works out well for us because we are balanced and he makes me calm down and I light a fire under his butt to get moving sometimes. I am also super obsessive---I overthink things sometimes- and he is so calm and laid back...it works for us!

With me and fh, fh is deaf-he was born that way, he wears one hearing aid, he can hear pretty well with it and can read lips amazing, and doesn't really use sign language unless he is around his deaf friends.

When we first started seeing each other it was definitely odd for me, because i wasn't use to having to look directly at someone when talking to them and i had to talk slower.

Now it is alot easier and i don't even notice things that i do, like when we go out to eat and i order his food and just little things. I usually don't notice until people that arent around us that much point it out to me.

FH and I are different in alot of ways...one big one is that I am a total money saver and he is a spender (which gets annoying when it comes to saving for the wedding) but he has been trying to stop spending alot lately.
I am a workaholic/like to go out at night and he is a homebody and very laidback...it gets us into trouble when i pull overtime at work or my hours change.

there are alot of other things that we are different on but the longer we are together the more we are understanding each other and all that fun stuff...so it all works itself out...

There are a few differences. One is his love for sports (I don't understand the difference between a touch down & a home run). But for him, I'm learning...I watch games with him sometimes, went to 2 yankee games, and watch his softball games. But, he's also pretty good about it, and explains everything to me and doesnt watch every single game.

There are a lot of differences between FH and I. He is an engineer, so he loves history, science and math. Also, he is into racing. I think we compliment each other. Things that I am not good at, he is, so it works!

hmm i would say the biggest difference is that he is hot-headed and i am more calm.. for instance if his favorite sports team is losing he will get all riled up, and i'm like 'eh, whatever. they suck, we'll get them next time'.. but i would say we fit together b/c we pretty much have the same sense of humor!

i couldnt help but laugh when i saw this question... today we got fast food today and my finace ate all of this fries first and then moved on to his sandwich and i had to alternate between the two and i pointed out how we have different eating techniques. lol its was just a random thing i noticed.

but other ways he trys to eat healthy and i like junk food! and he is more organized with work and i am a procrastinator. he really helps keep me ontrack.

We're different in a few ways. The one that sticks out the most is he doesnt tell me when something is bothering him and he'll keep it in. I like to just say it and get it off my chest. I hate having to guess whats wrong with him when I know something is up

fh is very impatient, i've notice that my patience level has increased to compensate for his lack of, so i stay calm for the both of us

1. He's Antisocial and im not - 2. He impatient.im not --3. He's a workaholic ... im not --4. He feels that he needs to have more than 1000 dollars in the bank or hes broke ... I need to have 1.00 IN THE BANK THEM IM BROKE 5 . The hardest one of all hes Jewish and Im not ....
