I feel like since I met my FH I have grown so much and have made some personal goals since then. Now some of those goals include physical goals.
My question is do you have any personal goals to hit before your wedding day(doesn't have to just be physical)
I decided to change my hair up a bit,cut long layers, cut of 4.5 inches and yesterday got some highlights(very undecided if I like them right now). Next is to lose the 10 pounds I gained since I met FH and I have lost 3 already :)

Congrats on your loss so far... I would say get back into shape is defintely a top priority for before the big day and to find a way to manage stress as I'm sure the closer it gets the more stress I will find myself under.

Definitely this!!!! I have always been one to work out however with some of the added stress that comes along with wedding planning, working out has been a huge stress reliever for me =p FH and I discussed about trying to motivate one another to incorporate physical activity (exercise) into our daily routine. Keeping fingers and toes crossed

Personally, I would love the both of us to lose some weight. FH is type 2 diabetic and I know he can lose weight (he'd lost over 100 lbs before he met me). In the beginning when we got together, I had actually lost about 20 lbs. Now, I've gained that back lol. Weight has always been a struggle for me, I would hope someday to get to my goal weight.
As for other goals, I have more selfish ones like trying to make more money on the side to cover the wedding (I'm a writer so I'm trying to enter some contests to gain some money).

FH is more the one with the goals before the wedding. He recently lost 100 pounds but gained about 20 back since completely quitting and eating Oreos again lol. So he wants to get it off and keep it off. He also hopes to graduate with him MBA by December 2015.. But it may be May 2016 depending on course availability (hence our late wedding date) and hopefully he'll have a great internship that will lead to a great job.
The only goal I have is to save as much as I possibly can from now until then and hope and pray that we can buy a house before the wedding.. But it'll probably be a year or two after. My worst fear is renting the rest of my life and never owning anything. FH is going to school and working a little less than full time so I'm the money maker right now and I'm trying to put a ton away for our house since we have our wedding budget already saved (thank god!)

We bought a house last September and all I can say is save, save, save as much as you can. The bigger the down payment the better off you will be. Also, DO NOT forget about closing costs. It'll depend on the house price, but count on at least 10k-15k for closing costs (it was about 10-11k for us). If you need to roll in the closing cost into your mortgage, you can but it will mean a higher mortgage payment.
Plus, have more savings on reserve to do home repairs (if necessary), if you need appliances, furniture, landscaping done etc.
Now if you plan to move out of state to someplace cheaper than you can probably save less. Also, take your time with finding a house. It took us 6 months.
lol sorry, I just went through the joy(?) of buying and like to pass on wisdom.

Oh my a Sweet 16 and a wedding, THAT is stressful. Having a house is something I never had as a kid (my parents always rented), but FH had lived in the same place his whole life. It is a very different experience having a house. So much can go wrong (thankfully not much has with our place *knock on wood*, a broken faucet the most)
We became engaged in February, so I'm not sure what FH's mindset was when we bought the place in September. I just know FH didn't want to rent anymore. Lol I've been renting my whole life, I told him.

Personal goals: I want a flatter tummy!!! I am determined to have abs by my honeymoon. I know it sounds silly but it hasne happened since college!! Other than that, I won't be cutting my hair until the wedding( trims yes of course)
I know FH wants to lose a few lbs before the wedding, maybe 20-30 lbs?

Thanks for the advice! I'll take any I can get lol. Our biggest problem is going to be FH's DTI ratio because of his student loans (I have none.. THANKS MOM AND DAD!) I get a migraine just thinking about it lol

My goal for before the wedding is of course physical, lose about 20lbs but personal goal would be to be a better saver!! I have always been bad with money but this wedding is helping me with that.
My hair goal is the opposite, I want to grow mine out enough so I don't need to pay for extensions for the long style that I want for the day of lol
