Do you say COO-pon or KEW-pon when you say 'coupon'?? Is one correct?
I say COO-pon and think KEW-pon sounds funny.

I was in Michaels today and the lady in front of me said to the cashier, 'I have a CUE-pon (or KEW-pon, as in KEW gardens).' I don't know why but it has always bothered me when people say it like that.
The merriam-webster dictionary online says you can say it both ways, but COO-pon is the first way.
Did anyone else know that you could go to that site and LISTEN to the correct pronunciation of ANY word???? I think that's awesome.

Also drives me crazy when people say 'victoria secrets' its victoria's secret.. and god sakes.. instead of god's sake... to axe a question instead of ask one... I could go on for days with my pet peeves!!

i am guilty - i say Q PON
and get made fun of for it a lot - FH is the one who told me i was saying it wrong and i didnt believe him, we actually fought over it
