i was so overwhelemed at first when i realized all it took to make a wedding happen!!! but little by little after crossing things off my list i felt so much better and knew i could handle it all!

i am still overwhelmed....i don't like to make important decisions w/ out someone elses opinion, and no one will help b/c its 'my day, and do what i want' ...all i want is a lil help hahah

Im not overwhelmed because we had such a long engagement..Im sure as it gets closer and we have to make more decisions I will be but at this point I am actually bored and wanting to do more stuff!

Well, I knew it was expensive.... but I was/am still shocked to add up all the numbers and get down to business! Its tough... If I didnt have my parents I have no idea where I would be right now..they are making my dream come true.

i didnt realize how much the vendors cost! but i have a long engagement so its been good bc we do a little at a time. thank God for my parents though too lol.

I think I knew...but like someone else I am having a long engagement so...well, so far I haven't felt overwhelmed. I still have a lot to do, so we'll see how it goes, so far I've been pretty stress free (but that's really not in character for me:) Hopefully, I'll stay that way!

I'm not surprised at what it takes to pull together. I am the last of all of my friends to get married. What surprises me most is that even after seeing everything they went through to plan it, I still agreed to do a big wedding! I didn't want a big wedding (I wanted a small destination wedding) but FH did. It hasn't been that bad to plan though.

i knew it was going to be a lot. we took a 2 year engagement, so the pace has been relaxed. the money stresses me out more than anything else.

I knew because i went through it with my sister. So i hada good range of what it will cost now. I figured for our size wedding & what we wanted it would be 50/60K. Yikes!

Thanks to all the wedding shows i had a decent idea but im slowly learning there are alot of hidden areas that need to be taken care of..

well I knew all the big stuff also but didn't realize all the little things. Thank god for one of my friends who just got married last year, she has been my go to person for everything. She has helped me so much and prepared me on what everything cost. So with her and all the LIW girls I think we all go it covered!

I knew what it would take, and I had already thought a lot about it so I generally knew what I wanted. Plus as part of my last job I used to plan events (trips, end of the year parties, meetings, etc.) so I knew a lot of what it took to get a big thing together. Although those I usually did in a month, so I'm kind of at the point where I can't wait to just get to the wedding and be over with the stress already!

I had no idea, I had a long engagement also but didn't really start planning until now. Its so hard to find the vendors and packages that fit my style and buget. I'm the first of my friends to get married and nobody in my family has gotten married in the last couple of years so I'm on my own with this. Atleast my best friend will have an easier time when its her turn

I knew it was going to be involved, because at one point I wanted to be a wedding planner. But doing it with FH has made me go a little slower than I would have liked.
