~QOTD 6-18-10~

My FH still opens doors for me after 3 years of dating. I would definitely consider him very chivalrous based on this and many other acts.

I think its still alive but I feel that the newer generation of men will not be the same as ours! I guess I think its dying slowly..lol

FH kills all the bugs for me!!!!! I think thats chivalrous!

Its the little things that count!

He always opens doors for me- lets me go first. The 1 door he doesnt open is the car door. Always carries any shopping bag or package I have no matter how light it is.

My FH is a true old fashioned gentleman!

Yes!! He carries the groceries in for me. He kills bugs for me. Any heavy lifting around the house he does.

yes, my DH is very chivalrous. he takes care of me even though i like to come off as a strong independent woman lol.

DH is very chivalrous~he opens all doors for me, carries heavy packages, always lets me go first. And it's really sweet because when people see him open my car door for me-they always look a little surprised, but pleasantly surprised.

DH still opens the car door for me. its sweet. but sometimes, im like, lets just go...lol...but he still walks around and opens my door

when he doesnt do it, im surprised. lol

so chivalry is still alive. DH is a really good guy like that!

I always tell FH to open doors for women and kids.

But no, on the whole, I think its dead.

Part of the reason I want to have boys. So I can raise them into gentlemen.

FH is the official bug killer and door opener. He tries to open the car door but I always tell him it's not necessary.

Yes I think it is still alive and my FH is very good with it all.

He always opens doors for me
He will go get the car and let me wait inside if it's raining badly out
He does a lot of that stuff

he is a goof-ball but is gentleman too

Ugh. DH & I had an argument over this the other night. The Outback that we go to eat at a lot is within walking distance from our apartment so we always walk their for dinner. I have limited peripheral vision out of my left eye so I prefer when DH is on my left side. However, DH insists on walking on the inside (usually my right side) because in the olden days when people used to empty their pee buckets out the windows it would fall onto the guys head. To that I say damn chivalry.

But with other things he is really great, like holding doors for me, as well as other people & giving his seat to someone on the train. Ugh I get so pissed when guys don't give their seats to pregos on the train.

cooks the moment I get home. all I need to do is wash my hands and then sit on the couch patiently waiting to be served (he gets annoyed if I am not patient LOL)

FH is def chivalrous. He opens my car door for me, holds the door for other people and lets women go first, and carry's my bags for me (even when I'm stubborn and don't want him to lol).

I dont really like that ish being done for me...its a nice gesture when DH opens the door for me and stuff (which he does every so often). But its not my cup of tea to have chivalry all the time. ALTHOUGH he is DEFINITELY the bug killer! LOL Im sooo skeeved out by bugs!
