QOTD 6/10/08

This came up last night at the photographer's meeting...

How many of you will be seeing your FH for pictures before the ceremony for the sake of time and the cocktail hour??

My mom nearly lost her cookies tb/c I plan on doing that...but the photographer will catch the moment we see each other either way!!

I'm not seeing him before the ceremony and i GUARANTEE he will be over in the cocktail hour room stuffing his face the whole time while we are standing in the gardens taking pictures lol.

I told him just get the pics out of the way, and i will let you free to eat all you want. He says, we have the WHOLE day to take pictures, please, we are getting the SEAFOOD BOAT.

haha. he just doesn't understand......

HAHAHA that's really funny my FH is all into the food and I'm like you have no idea how you will have no time to sit there and eat like you usually do...but he says that he will create a wall of groomsmen to sit behind so he can eat undisturbed...lol

I FEEL THE SAME WAY...I DON'T WANT TO MISS A SINGLE SECOND!!

We are not seeing each other before the ceremony. All our family shots will be done before the ceremony and all shots of FH and I will the bridal party will be done after the ceremony and during the CH. We will likely be missing the CH, but I am ok with that for the sake of our images!! I want to see him for the first time at the end of the aisle waiting for me!

I'm really up in the air..I mean I'll be seeing him for the first time at the church hehe..then we'll go take some pics after..so everyone knows we've already seen eachother...but I do love the whole intro into the room...it's something I was really looking forward too..and at the same time I do want to spend that hour with FH in the room just relaxing by ourselves..I'll let my bridal party go to cocktail hour so they don't miss out.

I want to see my cocktail hour though, all set up and pretty...so maybe I'll do a run through before the guests come in

I forgot to mention we are really pushing for the Seaboat also for that alone I have full cooperation to pictures out of the way. He wants his Lobster!!!

we are seeing eachother before the ceremony which i am looking foward too - it would be nice for him to see me walk down the aisle and all but if we did it that way - its the first time you see eachother and you cant even say anything to one another! and i dont like that - i want to be able to see eachother for the first time and actually get to say how i feel, and get to hug and kiss him....plus the photographer and videographer can capture that moment....i think of it as getting to have two WOW moments - b/c i think walking down the aisle will still be emotional for both of us even though we will have already spent time together - i dont know, i feel like its our wedding, we are paying for it and i just want to spend as much time with my FH that day as possible....

we are going to go to the CH to greet our guests - our CH is 1.5 hours so we are going to eat after the ceremony ALONE in the bridal suite and chill out for a little bit, then we'll head into the CH half way through to do some hello's....then we'll go back to the bridal suite to freshen up for the reception....i wanted a big entrance but after thinking about it, i rather be able to see and enjoy everything i paid for instead of hiding in the bridal suite or being to busy taking pictures....

i think its a personal choice - some people want that fist look to be during the ceremony and some people want the big entrance into the reception - it all depends on what is most important to you - for us we want to get as many great pics as possible and really utilize our photographer because we LOVE her, we want to spend as much time together as possible, and we want to enjoy everything at the RH....
