Morning! Getting VERY sick of this weather now.. Which got me thinking about rain on my wedding day... *deep breaths* so my question today is.. Do you have any plans in place incase it does rain or snow on your day? Cute photo ideas? Are you having your ceremony outside? What's the backup plan?

Well probably be stalking the weather channel app in the weeks leading up to the day and if the forecast says rain, well probably get some clear umbrellas, funky rainboots for the girls. I have to learn that everything can't be pinterest perfect lol

I am crazy and looked at the weather on my date for the passed 10years, only rained once in the morning before 9 am. I will be getting married in a church so no big deal but I did want inside/outside cocktail hour, thankfully my venue can hold everyone inside for CH as well!

Edited:

But I would TOTALLY do the rain boot idea!!!

My wedding date could go either way with weather! This year was cold until a few weeks ago....we are at the Riviera so hoping we have ceremony and cocktail hour outside, but if not they showed us the setup for inside...

I hope it doesn't rain but if it does it won't be the worst thing that can happen. Our ceremony is supposed to be outside but if the weather is bad I'll just have it inside. Also my photographer has great shots of rainy wedding days so I'm not worried.

Well we had a snowstorm last year on our wedding date. So I am hoping it will pass us this year. However I would not mine a light dusting. Would add a nice touch to our photos ;) The rainboots and clear umbrella ideas will make some awesome pics. Now should it snow for me not sure how Ugg boots would look. Hahahaha!

Our ceremony is supposed to be outside and thats the main thing I really really want to be perfect. I have always dreamed of an outside ceremony overlooking the water and thats one of the main reasons we booked LOB. If it rains our ceremony will be inside the main ballroom which is still really pretty but I would rather outside. Our cocktail hour also has the option of sitting inside/outside so again we are hoping for good weather. I got nervous this year because memorial day weekend was kind of rainy especially in the evenings. If it rains I don't have any picture ideas but would love to be able to at least get some near the water. I pray that everyone has a beautiful day for their weddings especially if they are outside!

Our's could go in several different directions - ive been to two weddings in past years the same weekend as ours where it was like 60 and sunny, but being its Thanksgiving weekend, it could also rain or snow!

If it is nice out, we plan to do the ceremony outside, otherwise we will be getting married in the Somerley room. Fox Hollow said we can make the decision up to two hours before the ceremony so we are going to play it by ear that day!

Beginning of April could be tricky. After the winter we had this year, I was surprised it didn't snow well into April. It was sunny and like 60 degrees on our wedding date this year. I know rain is a strong possibility for April so I'll just go with the flow. Rain boots and umbrellas all around! We are getting married in a church so don't have to worry about that and our CH is both inside and outside but there is plenty of room inside if need be.

I don't want to jinx it but im kind of hoping for flurries! Not snow lol just flurries!! My photographer had some pretty pictures!! With that said my hall has the most photo opps outside.....and I'd like to have a few shots with our dog so that would be outside! But I want to do the reveal in doors somewhere I think! I wanted to get ugh boots or something in case there is allot of snow.....my mom is against it! Idk what I will do she insists I only get slippers toschange into four the reception...... I might see the weather and go run out last min if neeeded!

We are getting married inside our venue but we are doing a reveal before hand(hopefully outside somewhere..)..If it rains, we've been trying to think of places nearby to take pictures. I'm a Dowling College alumni and people told me they have taken pictures inside there before if it rained(it's really pretty) or we are also thinking of the Holtsville Ecology Center because they have a small indoor area that always has pretty flowers and stuff. Lets hope it doesn't rain for any of us!!
