QOTD

Okay here is my question of the day. . alright I am putting two b/c I couldnt decide and didn't want to wait. . . ah the power. . it gets away with you. answer one, both, or none. .

ONE
If you were the one who had to propose, what would you have done for FH and why?

or of course if any of you DID propose, how did you do it?

TWO
What is your best physical feature? (Just think we can all get down on our physical self, esp when wedding planning so I wanna hear all of you brag!! What makes you beautiful??!!! )

Re: QOTD

I thought about proposing to FH, actually. We got together in April 2007, and by the fall of that year we knew we were in it for the long haul and were discussing wedding plans. He told me that October that he planned to propose to me 'sometime in 2008.' But sometimes I just got so anxious about making it official because I was so excited I honestly thought about doing it myself! But he beat me to it ... we got engaged 5 days prior to our anniversary. And if I were to do it, I would have done it the exact same way he did it ... at our 'place,' the promenade in Brooklyn Heights. This place holds a lot of importance to us and is the place where we fell in love, and where we first talked about getting married. Now it's the place we talk about having kids

As for physical features ... I have sort of low self esteem ... but I am going to say my hair. I think my hair is awesome.

Good questions!

Haha, thank you!!! Yes, it was great and though that day was a whirlwind of activity (brunch in my beloved college town, Top of the Rock at sunset, dinner at our fave restaurant in Brooklyn Heights where we ALSO went frequently in the beginning of our relationship) and FH was ready to propose to me at all of those locations ... I am SO GLAD he did it at the promenade ... that is what I always wanted.

If I proposed I would have done it alot quicker, LOL!!! We were together 5 yrs before he proposed and I think I would have been spontaneous and planned a secret getaway for a weekend to an island and had some romantic setting on the water....FH did something similar so it really was like I had dreamed

My fav feature, physically would be my boobs then followed by my lips.

I really have no idea how I would have done it. When I was waiting for it to happen I used to think of all the ways or places that would have been good, places that meant something to us. But I think on the beach was perfect. Though I think I might have done it before dinner and taken him somewhere fancy for dinner.

Hm, I think if I were to propose I would have done it in the cruise we went on a few months before he proposed. He actually bought the ring for me on that cruise, but didn't propose!

My best physical feature would probably be my boobs. And my hair is pretty nice too, imo.

Those are really good questions!

If I proposed I probably would have taken him to a Notre Dame game and asked him in the stadium. He is a huge ND fan and it is by far his favorite place.

Instead, we got engaged at 5:30 am while I was sitting on the couch watching the weather channel. He said that he didn't have a plan and that that time just felt right. Which, to me, was perfect!

As far as my best feature - I guess I would say my hair.

Love these..
Ok Quest #1 I do not even have to think about it. Hands down Yankke Stadium. Fh is a DIE HARD fan and I know it would have been like a dream for him..lol..Just like Adam Sandler did in Anger Management minus the mishaps of course.
I can't say I would have ever attempted it though I'm wayyy to old fashioned to even fathom proposing..lol...

Quest#2 Well I don't have a favorite per say.. I believe we are all beautiful in our own ways but if I had to name a favorite facial feature I would def say my eyes. They are lt. brown almond shaped and I have these freakishly long lashes!! It is perhaps the most complimented part of my face.
Body wise I would have to say the junk in my trunk Growing up if you knew me you probably called me pancake @ss....feels so good to see those people now..eat your hearts out....mwaaahahahahhaha

oh realized yet again, I asked but did not answer. . seems unfair so. .

if I proposed I think I would have done it on our trip to nova scotia. . we were at this gorgeous restaurant on top of a bluff with the most incredible views and sunset. . had cleaned up after a two day kayak trip. . or I would have taken FH skydiving and asked him in the adrenaline rush . except then I would have looked all dirty and I just kind of picture being dressed up.

best features. I would say hair and my back. .

Q1:

I would have proposed to FH where he proposed to me. In the snow at Lake Tahoe. He absolutely loves the snow!

Q2:

I would say my best feature is my hair (when I do it... which isn't that often lately)

Re: QOTD

If I had proposed, I probably would have done it on his 27th birthday in 2007, because I had such a nice day planned for us. First I took him to brunch at Lombardi's on the Sound, then I took him for a harbor cruise in Port Jeff, and we walked around and relaxed a bit, then we went to SB Harbor to kill some more time, and then I took him to Bliss in Setauket for dinner, which in hindsight was a mistake because we were still SO stuffed from brunch lol. But it was one of our better days, so I would have done it then...especially because at that point I was already getting antsy, and he waited almost a full year after still to actually propose.

I guess my best feature is either my eyes or my build. I like my eyes because they're dark and a little mischevious haha, and my build because I'm tall and thin and don't really need to work hard to maintain it, it's just my genetics from my mom.

Good questions!!!

If I had to do it I think I would have painted will you marry me on one of the sheet rocked walls in the attic we've been spending so much time renovating. Though it isn't his job, his heart is in his woodworking and I would have done something like that. With that being said I would NOT have proposed!

I like my face. Maybe it's my eyes, I'm not sure. Annnnd my hip bones.

#1: Probably would have done something low key because FH HATES being the center of attention (just wait until July 11th, sweetie. . .). I might not have gotten down on one knee--might have gone to dinner and then slipped the ring across the table.

#2: Except for today, I LOVE my eyes (one eyelid is still somewhat swollen, so yeah, not today). Even though they're always covered with glasses, they're the most creative, expressive part of me. Oh, and my hands as well, because I can make ANYTHING come out of them when my violin is in them.
