QOTD 6/17

So I was thinking this morning that since FH & I started dating there are just so many things that have changed about each of us. Some for good, some for worse!

So what has changed for better & worse about FH since you first met him??

I would say for better....his clothes!!! They are still not great but much better.

For worse, I would say his stubboness! He argues with me over the dumbest things.

My story is similar to stine's

For the better: his clothes... he lets me dress him now

FH has an opinion about everything... and our opinions only match after a 40 minute discussion and it gets tiring sometimes, but he's working on being laid back and I'm working on being open minded to other ideas.

Worse: He tends to expect that I will get stuff for him, or make him dinner

Yeah I definitely turned me into a Metro,lol. One day I just packed up all of his clothes and undergarments donated them and then we went to the mall where together we bought him an entire wardrobe. Sometimes I miss not being engaged, just being able to splurge was fun .

The bad (yes cause their is always bad/negative things in relationship although ppl on LIW like to pretend to be Perfect Patty)
- He still cannot manage his money very well, he has given up on it and just makes me do it all.
- Sometimes I feel as though he just plopped the ring on my finger and for the next two years he doesn't have to do anything. He accompanies to all wedding-related appointments but he just looks bored.
- He likes to act laid back and sometimes he is but it wasn't until we got engaged did I realize how religious he was or how different his stance was from mine on many controversial subjects.

I.E. Abortion. Not for me, but for many younger single women out there this may sometimes be the best option. He feels that this is absolutely wrong. I asked what if she was raped, he says its still wrong! So much for being laid back and pragmatic!

Good: I had him dress better and clean himself up lol..

Bad: despite having been with him for nearly 6 years, he is still very shy around my family... to which my mom complains 'why can't he open up more?!' and i've come to accept thats just his personality!

For better: He's ability to share. He's the only child so when I used to go over his house and ask to wear one of his shirts, he was very territorial over his clothes! Now I get first pick!

Also for the better and this is a little x-rated, but I'm more into exploring..if u will..in that department. In the beginning FH wasn't as imaginitive (for a lack of better words) as I was. Now, i'm trying to keep up with him...lol


For worse: I had major anger issues when FH met me, I was a hot headed 17 year old and he was always so calm. He taught me how to let things go and be more calm but in the process I made him more agressive and I have to calm him down sometimes! Go figure!

for better: doing sweet things for me without asking....like having a glass of wine ready for me when I get home from work, or cooking for me. Its the little things that count sometimes...


for worse: his clothes!!!!!! he still wears the same stuff from when we started dating 4 1/2 years ago!!! he wears whatever still fits him...

for better - he is more outgoing and social and meeting new people with me.

for worse - eating habits! i am a big junk food person and he was into eating healty, and that jsut doesnt happen when we are with my family lol
