So I was thinking last night as I was researching photobooths.
How are you going to make your wedding 'different' from the typical wedding???

We are having a photobooth and candy bar. It seems like the hot new trend.
I am also having penguin ice sculptures. I LOVE penguins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're looking to do a butterfly release, since our theme is butterflies and spring. I've heard some bad things about it, so if we do it I have to make sure we do it right.

We are just going to try and have as much fun as possible, not be too serious-because are not very serious people, and hopefully that will set us apart and will show at our wedding

We are doing everything the way we want it. We aren't doing a BoK toss or a garter toss. We do father/daughter and mother/son dance at the same time. We are taking pictures before the ceremony.
As part of our favors we are thinking about giving cupcakes from one of the speciality cupcake places in NYC.

I would love a photo booth but I have to see how my paper stacks up first we are having chocolate fountains, candy bar and cigar roller. I think my theme will be chocolate!

since one of my colors is pink i was thinking of having some bottles of rose (can't type the lil accent thingy but i mean ros-ay).

we're doing a video montage and maybe a dark/white chocolate fondue station.
There's also the little touches like the programs. We're doing program fans (the kind with the diffent panels, not the church looking ones with the stick).
And when it comes to my dres...just think of my screen name!

i haven't totally thought this through 100% but we will be doing pics beforehand, i'm going to shoot for a cigar roller (maybe even as a gift to my FH and dad for everything), and just basically trying to design everything myself....STD, invites, thank you cards, etc, etc. I'm sure there's more but i'm rushing now to go to a wedding so i;m not thinking straight lol

We are probably going to have a cigar roller and a photo booth..and we are getting married in January with a winter wonderland theme...nobody I know has done this yet.

we're not having a champagne toast, i'll have black and white polka dot accents on my dress and matching shoes. FH will probably wear sneakers and his hat, lol. we might have a photobooth as well.

We will probably do the photobooth (though i don't know if that will be so 'different' by 2010 lol) if finances allow,
Other than that, we may just have a typical wedding. We joked about the Imperial March for introducing hte bride and groom (FH keeps being associated with Darth Vader for some reason), but he then nixed that idea.
Though FH would LOVE to have a full Steel Tournament of knights at our wedding
