There is a saying the wedding is all about the bride so today's question is inspired by this: What are you doing besides your gifts for you FH?
Well besides his gifts I am thinking about doing a grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner in the shape of a water polo ball or his badge. Also my dad is actually doing something special he has begun to collect all tools that you would possibly ever need and putting them together to give to him after or before we are married whenever we move into a house. I want to do a little surprise during the actually reception but I'm not sure what yet!

I'm buying TONS of lingerie for the honeymoon - We're going away for like 18 days so I want to surprise him as much as possible. Part of our honeymoon is a cruise, so I'm sure we're going to have plenty alone time in the winter at sea.
I also want to get him a groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner, as long as it doesn't offend FILs. I don't want them to think I'm stepping on their toes!

I'm hoping to surprise him with someone special on the honeymoon like a fun excursion or a mini trip inside of our honeymoon! I'm definitely going to get him a gift but nothing too extravagant.. we may have to go on our honeymoon a few months later due to the timing of the cruise BUT I thought if I can get away with it, I'd like to book a mini moon :)

Definitely a groom's cake - Yoda, more specifically.
I'm getting him a pretty expensive gift, so I'm not sure what I'll be able to do financially otherwise. I'm sure I'll figure something out!

We're not exchanging gifts for our wedding. But the big thing I'm doing for my FH is having a wedding. I really wanted (and still want) City Hall and put the money towards a house. He wants the party. So I'm biting my tongue, bought a real wedding gown, and I'm discussing menus and looking at flowers, and asking women to be my bridesmaids. Very uncharacteristic of me.
I hope that didn't come across as snarky or cynical. But I'm not a princess, and me in a wedding gown looks like nail polish on a pitbull.

When FSIL had her bridal shower, instead of having people bring a recipe or what-not for the bride, FMIL told people to bring their favorite oil/sauce/condiment and she put everything into a basket for the groom, who loves to cook. I liked that idea of doing something for the GROOM at the bridal shower, so for my shower, I think I'd like to have my mom/FMIL plan something similar for FH.

I will be giving him a gift (haven't decided what yet), a Grooms Cake at Rehearsal Dinner, and a Lifetime of happiness with me! lol what...isn't that enough?
haha that's all I have planned so far really. He better like the last part.

I was also going to do a grooms cake but decided I am doing a surprise Star Wars ligt saber entrance into the RH he has no idea and all BM and GM are on board. I can't wait he is going to be so surprised!

For our engagement I bought him a Tag Heuer watch so for other gifts I'm going to do lots of lingerie for the honeymoon (my Victoria Secret bill is going to be ridiculous I'm sure), Boudior pictures if I get the courage up to do that and a groom's cake!

FH and I have been planning the wedding together. I am doing a special garter he doesn't know about along with added feature on the cake for him. I suggested a grooms cake he said he didn't need an extra cake. I would also like to do boudoir pics I just need to lose 30 more lbs.

Hmm I will be giving him a surprise gift on the day of the wedding (maybe cuff links and a card as gifts, and a text with me in my wedding lingerie the day of).
I will be doing a groom's cake for him at the rehearsal dinner.
Our venue doesn't have Guinness as one of their alcohol selections, so I was planning to give the bartender a six-pack of Guinness for the groom since he loves Guinness so much.

I'm letting him get the car he wants, wear converse, and wear a regular tie even though I like bowties better.

FH loves off-roading and modifying his truck. I bought him a lift kit for his engagement gift. I have no idea how I'm going to top that, but I'm sure whatever I buy him will be some kind of 'truck jewelry' for his second favorite 'lady.' I'm also searching for a talented baker who can do an Alien Vs. Predator groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner. If I can't find one (that I can afford), I'll probably take him to Kentucky for a bourbon tasting tour.

I got him a nice watch for our engagement. I'm also planning on surprising FH with a groom's cake at the rehearsal dinner - a poker table. He loves his cards!

I didn't know actual gifts were a thing. Uhm. I definitely planned on doing a grooms cake and a lot of lingerie for the honeymoon.
We're gonna have to talk about this present thing. Is he supposed to get me a present too?
