Happy first day of summer!! This is a very early posting of QOTD because I'm on my way to the airport!
What are you and your FH's summer plans?
I'm so excited we will get spoiled and see each other every 2-3 weeks basically. While we are in New York we will hopefully get some wedding stuff done, beach, and just enjoy having one another around. We have a wedding to go too. While we are in Canada it's more laid back. We might go to cottage country and just sit at wineries.

We're going to be really low key since we are saving A LOT right now. We usually plan a few vacations a year, but not this summer! We'll probably go to the city a few times and have obvious nights at the bar with friends...but that's about it!

In two weeks we are going to hawaii. One of our groomsmen is getting married so we decided we'd make a vacation out of it. Its hard because we are wedding planning but we have to go. Other then that we are moving into our house next month so we'll just be enjoying that.

We will be keeping it Low Key like RoandJoe. I always joke because we're saving up so much money, and both on diets, its like we're just no fun anymore. lol Well a lot more nights at home, and a lot less BBQ food than last year. We also will try to go camping at least 1x so we can still feel like we're going away.

This! [Except for the camping part...FH just took me for my first camping trip ever 2 weeks ago and that will hold me over for a long time lol]

We have virtually nothing planned. No extra money, and like meejack we're both on diets too. We have a friend's annual 4th of July BBQ, and I promised him we'd go out to dinner in Manhattan during retaurant week. But that's about it.

Nothing planned! FH works outside and gets busy during the summer months. Just going about our normal routine! On Saturdays when he is working I will hit the pool with my mom or something. And we just got a new patio set so maybe I will move our dinners outside lol. Wow, we are boring.

We're thinking of doing a quick three night trip to Charleston, SC or Vegas. If we don't do that then we might go up to NH and see Zac Brown Band play there (depending on how expensive the tickets are on stub hub). I told him that if we don't do a quick getaway we have to see ZBB somewhere because I'm DYING to see them play live. Other than that he'll probably be working lots of OT for wedding $$ and I'm only working part time over the summer so there will be lots of snuggle time with our furbaby Carlos!

We normally go to Florida in the summer but not this year since we are saving.. We will go to the city a couple times and just hang in my pool. Pretty boring lol

What are you and your FH's summer plans?
We don't have any BIG plans, sadly. Mainly just BBQ's with family & friends. We're going to CT for a weekend in July, and Revel in AC for two nights. I'm really excited for the first weekend of September because we're going to Miami for his cousin's wedding!
& I'm sure I'll be frantically planning away! We're at the 6 month mark now, so it's gonna be crunch time at the end of the summer!
No plans together, really. FH is teaching summer school but is off on Fridays and then at the end of the summer he's going to his family's timeshare for a week, but I don't think I'll be able to go since I have too much going on with work. But we'll see.

We are trying to sneak in 1 vacation on our own, either a small road trip or just to go to Florida to visit my cousins. His dad wants to buy us tickets to visit his family in Colombian possibly in September but it may be too much for us! I'm desperately trying to finish school before the wedding so I can transfer and we can move :)

We really have no plans for the summer. I started a new job in March and have no vacation time for 18 months!!! Also, we're trying to buy a house and save for the wedding so it's probably better we don't have any trips planned.

We have 2 weddings to go to, one next weekend and one in August. Both are really good friends of ours and both weddings are in Pittsburgh. Other than that we will be saving money and hopefully closing on our house by August!! We are signing the contract early next week!
We will be going to Disney World for a week, but not until October, for the Food & Wine Festival!

I am coming back to NY for the summer while FH stays in CT... both for work, so we will be back to seeing each other on weekends! boo :( We do have plans in August to go to North Carolina for a week to stay at his families house, I am super excited for that!

Nothing crazy. I just ordered a mini charcoal BBQ for us, so we plan on having lots of fresh BBQ dinners on our roof this summer. And I plan on going to the beach!!!

Not much, my last day of work was yesterday! (I'm hanging out with a 14 year old kid for a few days a week in August) but other than that I'm lounging poolside most of the summer!

We have a busy summer full of family parties almost every weekend. its insane. BUT we are going to Ocean City MD for a week with FFIL, FSIL, FBIL, and our nieces. The girls are 1 & 3 so its not really relaxing but its fun & great birth control we leave there every year and remember we are SO not ready for kids haha. ALso FH & I will be moving in together Aug 1st so we have lots of furniture shopping to do. I am really looking forward to living together! we also have a wedding in PA in aug.

Congrats! Furniture shopping is SO. MUCH. FUN!!! well at least for me. lol. They usually have sales around each holiday (4th of July is coming up). Look at Macy's furniture too. They offer 0% credit card for a year and their prices are reasonable.

I have off until August and FH will be working. We are trying to save and stick to our diets so our summer will be very low key which we both don't mind at all! I will be relaxing, organizing and getting things on my to do list done.
