Sorry if this has been asked before, and it is a 2 parter; what song are you and FH going to dance to as your first dance together? And are you taking dance lessons are just winging it?
I'm unsure of our song yet because we have a couple songs we love, and we are just winging it with the dancing. I have always felt good in his arms when we dance (and he dances with me practically everyday) so I think practicing would take away from our special moment together. I don't care if we look terrible, haha!

FH is set on Bryan Adams - everything I do, I do it for you. He vetoed every song I played for him. He proposed to this song & that's the song he wants. No dance lessons here

FH chose the song, and I absolutely love it. It's called 'When you Say Nothing at All', and we're going to do a duet version...possibly an a capella duet version. NO dance lessons for us, cause I can't ever stop myself from trying to lead!!

Our song is 'By your side' by Sade and we are taking lessons. We are going to surprise everyone w/ a choreographed dance. No one knows so shhhhhh!

Awww. I totally understand. FH wants to use this song but I can't because I don't want to cry in front of everyone and I cry ever time I hear that song too.

We danced to Come What May and we took about a month of dance lessons. We did a full choreographed dance.

We took dance lessons at Arthur Murray in Port Jefferson and it was a big waste of time and money. They spent most of our time talking to us and trying to sell us more lessons. We would only dance for about 15 minutes during our 45 minute lesson.
But we still had an awesome time at our wedding during our first dance. I would say lessons are not needed but if you are really uncomfortable dancing it will help but just research the place before you give them money.
