Have any of you picked up a second job to help with wedding expenses? Extra hours at your current job? If not are you looking or are you in a position where you dont need a second job??

I was offered a part time job at my old job. They acutally just got in touch with me yesterday. While the extra money would be GREAT I'm unsure if its worth all the BS that I would be walking back into.. for now.. I'm in limbo on this one lolol

I am actually just starting a new full time job next month. I will be working with adults with disabilities. I'm also keeping my current part-time-ish job as a birthday party hostess for the weekends and some weeknights!

Right after we got engaged I knew I would need a part-time job. I was tutoring children in their homes after work. Now that they are on summer vacation the program does not start again until October/ November. So if I do not find something else I will go back to tutoring. I would like to make some extra money during the summertime but I want to enjoy all the summer fun. lol!! So I haven't been looking for any part-time work for the summertime.

I really need to find another job but I'm moving within the next two weeks and the moving date was so up in the air for months that I didn't even know what to do. I want to teach yoga but didn't want to take a job in Long Beach when I'm moving to Northport Plus the stress of house hunting/waiting for the closing date while working full time already... Now that I'm almost settled I'll be teaching music lessons from home and finding nearby yoga studios to teach at.

The thought has crossed my mind, but I don't really NEED it. FH works overtime when he can and I'm working per diem this summer. (I'm salaried for ten months with optional summers.) We are just budgeting and doing our best to be frugal.

I am thinking about getting a part-time job. My problem right now though is that I'm moving to VA as soon as I find a new full-time job, so I don't want to start a part-time job here in NY, if I'm just going to be leaving it in the next couple of months.

It is always crossing my mind if I should or shouldnt get a pt job. I guess if a good pt opportunity came my way I would go for it. We could def use the extra $!

I've thought about it, but I work Monday - Friday until almost 5:00 everyday. FH doesn't work weekends either, so it's our time together. During the school year, I did after school and tutoring, so as long as I'm back there next year, I'll be doing the same thing.

ive been working 3 jobs for the past few years! i dont think i could fit anymore time in...
my problem is that i am almost too ambitious.. i keep thinking of places to either get discounts for the wedding or where i can make cash

I work a salaried job where about 50 hours a week is common, but we're on call 24/7. I can be called in at 7 a.m., or have to work at midnight.
With that kind of schedule its incredibly difficult to pick up a second job. I would love to.
I was once offered an opportunity to be a fitness (hula) hoop dance instructor.

i am a neurosurgery PA and i have a lot of opportunity for OT between time and a half and OR call...so i def dont want or need a second job...my fiance on the other hand is a diff story
