Let's have a little fun. Tell us something that we would be shocked to learn about you. Meaning, tell us something that we would never guess about you, maybe it's something from when you were younger, something you did or something you would probably never do again BE CREATIVE I know you all have something.
How about something from my previous life I call it AKA life before 25. I used to shake my a$$ all over a bar every friday and saturday night at a bar in port jeff, I was a bartender but we were like coyote ugly girls doing choreographed dances on the bar. People that I meet now are SHOCKED because the person that I am now is very opposite, I barely drink now and I'm definitely calm and relaxed. It was fun while it lasted but I would NEVER even think about doing it now!! I have pics, but will not be posting them on here, you can see my fb for that

Hmm….ok so it’s not really ‘shocking’ but its pretty cool…so while in college- I worked at best buy- but in the HR department & doing brand promotion for them at Jones beach- at the concerts over the summer- so from the summer of ‘03-‘07 I met pretty much every band that played jones beach and got like all access passes to a lot of the shows—it was so much fun- I like got paid to party with rock stars some of the nights!

its not bad at all! its a good one my fav when I was working the shows was def Incubus/ new found glory- I remember being like O.M.G.
...looking back now, I'd say Howard Stern (he was there promoting something too- forgot what though?) I love howard hahaha

I went skydiving :)
Anyone that knows me knows that I am deathly afraid of heights and falling .. and would never EVER believe that I could do something like that.
But it was just something I promised myself I would do .. and I DID IT!! And it was SO much fun!

as recently divulged on another post, I was in a Debbie Gibson video around age 10. She was making her 'home video' at the pond near my house, so we stopped (driving to Hebrew School in the carpool LOL!) and got her autograph. They made us sign waivers and filmed it, and its on the 'Out of the Blue' home video.
I have the VHS. And no, you cant see.

how on earth did you do that if you scared of heights! That's pretty amazing....I give you TONS of credit, I could never do that just because of the small plane, I would never be able to get on that plane

Along the same lines as the skydiving...I've been bungee jumping. In college my sorority's house name for me was Petrie, because I was scared of everything. No one believed me until I showed the pictures!

I have written two full length novels that are just sitting on my computer because I'm too scared to actually try and do anything with them. My FH has read them over and edited them because although I have an active imagination when it comes to story telling I am not the best writer so it was really a collaboration.

When I was younger I used to read ppls cards using regular poker cards. I got soo into astrology and predicting the future and making ppl believe i could read their cards that some of things I used to say would come true. My family and friends would ask me on a regular to read their cards b/c things I would say would come true. I stopped doing it after awhile b/c it became a lil scary that I might actually have that special power lol.

Mine is that I have a tattoo...and that it's kind of on my bum! Friends who didn't know me when I got it are shocked, because I am pretty much a goody-two-shoes and definitely not a risk-taker or a thrill-seeker of any sort. But, when I turned 18 I considered it my big rebellion; I wrote the word 'Poet' in my own handwriting, and had it tattooed next to a feather pen, on my upper tush area. I wanted it somewhere that only I could see it-- it was for ME!
The hilarious thing is, believe it or not, if it were not for that very out-of-character move of getting a tattoo, I may not have met FH!!!!! (Yes, having a tattoo on my butt was actually CRITICAL in the story of our love! LOL) But we will save that antic for another day.....
I practiced and practiced and was coming up on our 1st bout but got into a bad car accident and broke my right femur. I tried coming back to it, went to a couple of practices, but it was expensive and I just couldn't keep up with it.
I love roller skating. Wish there were more rinks around the island..
