I am taking is last name. He last name is only four letters and even though I am West Indian, I too have an Italian last name. I will miss all three of my names rhyming together! But the upside is that no one will ever butcher my name again.

I am taking his. I like traditional. Plus, my current name is so long and now with his last name, its much shorter!

I am taking his last name, which is plain and ordinary-Miller. But I am going to miss my last name, I am soo used to people not being able to spell it or pronounce it, so i think i am going to miss that.

I'm taking his last name. No one ever says my last name correctly. It's difficult for people to understand what your saying when your spelling it. But the best part of taking his last name is that my initials dont change. They both start with 'C' so my initals will still be J.A.C.

FH had a face of pure horror when I said I was considering hyphenating my last name. I'll have had that last name for 35 years on the day I get married, have such mixed emotions totally eliminating it from my life. Only thing that is making me take his name is the fact that our names hyphenating just sounds awful.

I am taking his last name...but I wouldnt mind hyphenating. He wont even hear of this. I have an itlian last name now and I am going to miss this. Even though he is Italian his fater is english- so ill have a plain name now...no vowel at the end

weird, those are my initials too. but once i take FH's name i'll be JAB

I am taking his last name..but I have a feeling my students are still going to call me by my maiden name so I guess it will stick with me forever lol!

I've never really liked my last name-- its odd and hard to pronounce. I LOVE FH's last name SO much more than my own- its kinda common but its so much better than having everyone struggle over reading my last name.

IM NoT taking my fh's last name .... im thinking about hypenating it ...i am not sure yet ! Maybe for like our 5 yr aniversary or something i will surprise him but not now ...

i brought that up the other night...about hyphenating and I got the weirdest look from him..like, how could you not?? I've been called by my last name since college so that started 8 years ago....it's such a huge part of me!

i am taking his name, but its going to be hard. in hs my nickname was part of my last name and even tho its long i love it. i was thinking that i would combine but my name has 10 letters and his has 9 and they are both mouthfulls lol
