I had finally decided to go with a certain florist. When I told FH my decision, he started to tell me all the reasons he feels we should go with the OTHER florist, thus bringing me back to my back and forth debate about the two. Since we haven't decided what we're doing yet, I guess no one won that one.
As far as invites go, I want the rhinestone slide on my invites and FH hates it...He's very adament about it and does not want them on the invite AT ALL. That being said, I'm ordering them. He may kill me.
I guess we've also disagreed on the day to have the wedding (sat vs. sun) and whether or not to do the VH....We did Sat and got the VH so I definitely won there

I have to say that I am a very lucky girl. We haven't argued about anything. I made most of the decisions, and he approved them, but for the most part he has loved everything I chose.

The percussionist. You would think I had asked him to invite all of my old boyfriends to the wedding... he won that one. I have never seen him so dead set against something.

Re: ***QOTD: 6/3/10***
thankfully we pretty much agreed on our decisions together
the one annoying thing towards the end were the place cards!! i wanted to make jordan almond flowers for placecards, and i told DH and he said OK. it was my first wedding purchase
..but when the time came to make them. OMGGGG. we had NO IDEA how TIME CONSUMING it would be. it was then that DH did not remember agreeing to it.
but thankfully he still helped to finish them all

FH wanted alot of things NY Met's or blue and orange because of them. I didn't want blue and orange and mr met at the wedding and all met's stuff becaue I AM A YANKEE FAN! I also thought it would be rude to my parents as they are paying for the reception and my dad is a yankee fan! he accepted that! we are now not using met's colors, and we are incorporateing the mets and yankees into ice sculptures and watermelon sculptures!

We have been pretty much on the same page with a lot of stuff .. except ...
I wanted the monogram light on the dance floor... he won
He hated the idea of uplighting .. I won
I wanted a chocolate fountain or ice sculpture ... he won
He hates the idea of the cake cutting ceremony .. I won
Other than that - we've been good. But never really got into a heated argument - we never do. he's very good about reasoning and talking things through.

yesss we have definitely disagreed on an aspect of the wedding... or the wedding in general. when we first got engaged and tried to decide what we wanted to do. it was just me and him and we didnt think/know our parents would pay for the wedding... sooooooo he basically said we have a nice wedding or we have a place to live
ummmm, what?! yeah... he said we cant have afford a wedding and a place to live, soooo it was kinda like an ultimatim, i guess. i called my father and he was soooo generous and then he and fil talked and decided to pay for the wedding between the two of them. so it went from having a tiny wedding with like 10 people and place to live to a beaaauuuuuutiful wedding and still a place to live
I WIN! lol

The tuxes. I didn't want the guys to wear vests at all and DH wanted them. He nearly bit my friggin head off after that simple suggestion. Well, they wore the vests and they looked awesome. I was very pleased!

Having babies at the wedding. I'm completely against it; he doesnt see the big deal. In the end, we're having 1 baby, but only because everyone who would be available to watch the baby will be at the wedding.

Ok, here we go...
1. Entrace song Winner: FH According to FH there is no discussion to entrance song, we are walking into the Hulk Hogan theme song. I really hope people get drunk during the cocktail hour so they don't remember this. Helll, I may have to get drunk during the cocktail hour. I tried bringing up other cool songs, but he is not moving from this. Our friends got married last summer and their entrance song was 'Eye Of The Tiger' which I admit is pretty cool and my FH was like 'OH, Jessie we need something cool like that.' Stupid me says 'Ok, think of something.' Stupid Hulk Hogan is what he comes up with. I lose.
2. Tuxes Winner: Me The girls are wearing a truffle (brown) color dress so FH thinks it's an awesome idea to wear an chocolate tux. I say 'No, I don't think it would look good. You are not trying to match the bridal party, you are trying to match me.' What kills me is that he does look really good in this stupid chocolate tux. He gave in and is going with the original Black and white. I win.
FH tells me I agreed on everything else, he just didn't want to argue with me. So, I guess I really won. Seriously, it's really the girls day anyway.

You are a strong woman. No matter how hard my FH pushed, I would never give in to that.

Re: ***QOTD: 6/3/10***
I think FH has been winning most of the battles....
1. First Dance Song: he won. He loves this one Smiths song (my mother hates it ), but when I heard it and he told me how much it meant to him, I agreed to it. It's not the worst thing in the world.
2. Band: I won! We were debating DJ or band, and ultimately he told me I could pick whatever I want.
3. Menu: he won. He added a sushi station AND a seafood station AND a martini luge! AND he wants lobster....but that he won't win on because he's not invited to the final menu meeting (mother already told me - and she's footing the RH bill).
4. Garter/ Bouquet Toss: he won....he said he wanted this, he had to have this. I gave in, since I really don't care.

yep...not sending out the invites 3 months ago!!!! he just doesn't get why you don't send them out soooo far in advance. i can't tell you how many times i've explained it to him and it goes in one ear and out the other
