Good Morning to all of you....hopefully this will be a good week!!
I would like to thank Jenn for picking me to be the BOTW and hopefully my QOTD's this week are as good as most of all past BOTW's!!!
Here goes... My first QOTD... When was your 'ah ha' moment, the moment that you realized that you truly wanted to spend the rest of your life with FH?
My moment was pretty much in the beginning when he was there for me when my grandma passed away & then my grandpa a couple of months after. It was one of the hardest times of my life, my grandparents were my world..ever since I opened my eyes they were always there. My FH has a big heart, and that's what I adore about him..well besides many other things lol. But going thru a rough time & him being there is when I realized..YUP! I want to spend the rest of my life with him

I had met my fiance when I came to visit NYC in Oct '11. My good friend had asked me to join her and her friends to play flag football. I had met my fiance but I didn't remember him. We even took pix next to each other and talked, but since there were so many people I met that day I didn't know who was who..lol. When I moved to NYC in Jan '12, I ran into him a friend's birthday. He said hi to me but I didn't know when he was so didn't say anything. We met again for the 3rd time a month later a friend's 30th bday party and that's when we ended up talking and I had found out we had previously met..lol. From that point on, I fell for him fast. We had so much in common and had such a strong connection. After 2 months of dating, we went camping in Lake George and I knew he was my Mr. Right. That's when I told him I was falling in love with him and he told me he felt the same way! From that point on, we knew we found our perfect match in each other! =)

This is so difficult for me to say, but I knew he was worth it after I stood him up two times and he STILL wanted to meet. We also met online and talked for about 1 month before meeting. I was way too nervous to meet him, but he was super persistent. My ah-ha moment is difficult. Maybe when I met his family and he met mine. It was perfection. I felt like I had belonged in his family and vice versa!

I have always tried to be level-headed and not expect anything from a relationship since I didn't want to have my heart broken. I had only dated one other guy before FH. Four months into our relationship, it was my birthday, and I knew I was falling in love with him, but I kept trying to deny it to myself. FH is a quiet guy and does not express his feelings openly. Well, on my birthday, I didn't expect anything from him, but he surprised me by planning a beautiful day and giving me a gorgeous necklace. When he opened that box with the necklace, I knew that if in the future there was a ring in the box, I would say yes. That's when I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

I also met my FH on eharmony we clicked right away and we just comfortable together. We like the same things and have the same dark sense of humor. While there wasn't an a-ha moment it was just all the little moments that all combined made me realize that I was just myself with him, that he accepts me no matter what. He is always honest with me and help me be the best me I can be.
FH and I met on PlentyOfFish and we clicked instantly. After our first date I texted my best friend saying 'I'm marrying this guy'.
But my 'AHA' moment... we were dating about a month and he took me to a concert where his favorite band, Reel Big Fish, was headlining. It was at the paramount in huntington and it was pouring rain. We ended up walking like... 10 blocks to the venue in the rain and in the puddles and it was so much fun. While we were at the concert, during a specific song (Good Thing) he just wrapped his arms around me from behind and hugged me and kissed my neck. I melted. I wanted to tell him in that moment that I loved him. I didn't... but I wanted to tell him. In that moment.. during that song... I knew I was madly in love with this man and I couldn't believe how freakin' lucky I got.
(this is the link to the song btw, because its our wedding song also but i feel like the lyrics just say a lot about our relationship https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHm8zRDgco8 )

This is a great question. I would have to say that my a-ha moment was even before we met! FH & I met on EHarmony and we spoke on the phone for about 2 months before we even met. During that time the connection we formed was one I had never, ever experienced before and as soon as we met it solidified all of the feelings I had and the rest is history!
Our begining is similar except we met on match.com

for me, FH and I started dating at 14. I will never forget the first day of sophomore year, he came up to me at my locker and kissed me! totally came out of left field- wasn't expecting it. My heart instantly sank/ had major butterflies and i feel from that moment 'I have just always known..' there was no defining moment except that :)
