What was something you swore you would/wouldn't do with your wedding but actually did?
I'm guilty of two things: - I swore to my bridesmaids that their dresses would be TOTALLY rewearable... now that they're picked I don't think they really are - I also swore I would not have a videographer, but after talking to brides who didn't and regretted it, I made a last minute decision to book one!

I swore I would have a weekend wedding in the country. I ABSOLUTELY wanted something outdoors and in the fall. My RH is everything I said I never wanted but when I walked in a fell in love. So now I'm an indoor winter bride!!!

I swore that i was going to pick a BM dress that they were all going to love! well i thought they all did until about a week before when i got a call from one of them saying her and one other girl wanted to change at the reception because they hated it!
oh well everyone else loved it!
but other that that my wedding was pretty much everything i swore it would be!!!!
oh and i also swore that on the actual day i wasnt going to let ANYTHING bother me! and i did good with that even when they broke the news that they ate my cake at the earlier wedding! (it bothers me now...lol)

Hmm... this is tough...
I actually promised myself I'd be careful and not end up getting my dress wet in the toilet... and one of the bustle straps totally fell in!!!!!!!!!! ARGH

I swore I wasn't going to spend money on 'extras' and just generally cheap out on the wedding, since we are pretty frugal with things, but I got cocktail napkins and a whole slew of other little things that really aren't necessary. Ehh...you only live once.

I swore I wouldn't get crazy towards the end.. and well.. I AM...and very moody.
I swore I wouldn't do any group dances but FMIL is begging me for the stupid cotton eye joe... so stay tuned for that update.. I might cave and let her have that one

i swore to myself i wasn't gonna take time to smoke a cig, that i would just deal the whole night, but somehow i ended up outside 3 or 4 times, and i regret it cause i missed some good dancing!

I swore i wasn't going to have a videographer i caved in and got one and also i swore i wasn't going to let people bully me around into doing things i didn't want to i did let somethings go but now no more so now some of my family members are pissed at me..oh well!!

I also swore I wouldn't have a videographer. I'm not ... but one of my very best friends and by BM's husband is going to bring his camera and tape everything .... and he does this on the side from his full-time job and his stuff is always amazing.
I think that's really it though. I haven't compromised on my original ideas and plans ... everything is panning out the way I wanted it to!

I swore I wouldnt spend hundreds of dollars on a wedding cake...and I did. I couldnt resist.
I definitly would have chosen different bridal party members.
But other than that, I loved how everything turned out and went. It was perfect

i swore i would not go craxy with little things..welli went nuts with making a tag for each flip flop..making signs for the signature drinks,the bubbles,the ribbon wands,a welcome sign etc etc

Well I didn't really swear I wouldn't do this... but I THOUGHT I would buy each girls necklace and have it be different for each girl. But the one I found was so unique... I ended up getting them all the same one! haha!!
I know i'm boring! But that's the first thing that came to mind!! haha!!
