figure its past midnight and i'm up, might as well post it, lol. are you having a set theme for your wedding? i see a ton of people on the boards have colors but not necessarily a theme, myself included. also do you think its necessary to have a theme?

we were originally thinking a winter wonderland theme, but the more I think about it, it seems to be shifting to a 'simple elegance' theme.

Sapphire blue, Cream and silver accents, keeping the same colors, but thinking we are pulling away from 'winter wonderland'

FH not big on the theme idea. Most I can get him to commit to are colors. Wanted to go with a spring theme, but he wasn't that into it. Fine by me, figure it's less work if I just have to look for color items and not theme items. Though, he did waiver a little when I mentioned doing a sports theme. I'm a diehard Giants fan and he is a diehard Yankees fan. Thought we could have a lot of fun with that, but turns out he is so much more traditional than I thought!

We're not doing a theme. Altough I did promise him if we got on who wants to be a millionaire we'd have a Giants themed wedding!

I am doing a winter wonderland theme. Everything will still be decorated for the holidays so why not!

i am not having a theme, just thinking of colors right now that matches the season i'm getting married in..

but i think the whole 'winter wonderland' theme would be cute if i was having a winter wedding!

Just as we seem to be twins on everything else, i am also doing winter wonderland theme-snowflakes everywhere

we're kind of in the middle with the theme thing. FH is OBSESSED with football and sports so we were going to incorporate some stuff. for the table names we were going to name them after players from his fave football team. the place cards were going to be little football jerseys that had the player name on them as well as the guests name.
we also saw a wedding that the guys in the bridal party had their last names and numbers sewed onto the back of their vests (like a sports jersey)so now he wants to do that but now we have to buy the vests. .
we're still playing with those ideas though
