Good morning ladies! Today's question of the day is not a wedding related one. I was searching the internet yesterday for possible MOB gifts and I found a pillow with the saying 'Mirror Mirror On The Wall, I Am My Mother After All' and it made me think of all the ways I'm like my mom. What traits have you inherited from your mom, either physical or personality wise? These can be good traits or bad traits. And is their any ways in which you hope to be more like your mom?

I def got half of myself from my mom, and half from my dad. From my mom I got the fun, outgoing side of me. The side that loves to meet people and mingle. I got her love of family and tradition....and the hope that I will be a mommy just like her

I am like my mom in some ways. We have some of the same personality traits. We are both creative and love to do crafts. We also are pretty mild tempered unless you really pi** us off! We are very much similar, but she can be a little old fashioned sometimes which I am not!

my mom and I are completely polar opposites, I'm tall, she's short physically. We have never agreed on anything. Don't think that'll change. I love good food, she'll eat whatever. I'm a fast eater she takes forever. There's so much more.
Maybe I'm adopted.

UG I NEVER wanted to turn into my mom - I still don't LOL. She is just of another world but I have some of her traits. We are both really pale and dont tan which stinks when you are Italian lol
She has NOOOOO patience and neither do i. We both curse like sailors and we are both a little OCD when it comes to certain things be done 'right.'

i def got my mom's boobies - but i've learned to live with them. She also is a very caring wife and I think I have the caring FW with me already. I hope to one day pick up on her cooking skills - b/c I absolutely do not have that trait!

well the #1 thing and most obvious if you see my mom dad and me is my Color... We are from the Caribbean and my dad is a dark man, but i am super light, even lighter than my mom..

There are days where I feel like I'm turning into my mother, and truth be told that's not a bad thing. She was an unbelievably strong woman who was good at what she did and was incredibly loving - now if only more people could be like her the world would be a much better place.
Definitely got a lot of my dad in me too though - fortunately the sick sense of humor is appreciated
So, there were two fish swimming along; one ran into a wall and the other said 'dam!'

I love everyone's answers!!! We are all like our mamas whether we like it or not!
For me, I definetly look a lot like my mom. We both have prominant chins and we're both tall (I hated both these traits growing up but I've gotten used to them lol). I also got my sarcasm from my mom- I wish I was more patient like her though. She's a wonderful mom and I hope that's something I inherit too!

I'm proud like my mom. She won't ask anyone for help and has always been determined to do things on her own. I also have her sense of family-first. My mom is seriously my hero, I hope that as time goes by I become more and more like her.

Hmmm.... Me and my Mommy!!!!!
We are like the same person.... We are very outgoing... we are always smiling... We are hardworkers... we are sweet... We also speak out loud!!!! I could get mad the same way she does... I get 'pride' the same way she does... When my mommy and I are arguing... OMG!!!! Daddy and my bro just stay out fo it LOL because we def. Bump heads bc we have the same personalities!!!
But I love my moommmmyyyyyy....

I got her curly hair. Unfortunately I didn't get her amazing legs...

Growing up I thought me and my mom were completely different but now I see that I've actually become alot like her! FH sees it too.
I'm a worry wart. My mom is super 'nervous' about everything and now I'm like that too! this used to be so annoying to me when I was younger!
We're both mothering and make sacrifices for other people. My mom would always save the 'bad' piece of chicken or the mishapen pancake for herself and I do that all the time. FH gets mad if I do this because he thinks it makes it seem like I'm less deserving? But really, i just like making other people happy!
We're both the talkative ones. My mom is super outgoing and I've inherited that from her. My dad and brother are both very reserved.
Physically we're very different. I'm 5' 9' and she's like 5' 3'. Even when I was little, people couldn't really decide who I looked like. If I inherited physical traits from her, it'd be our wide feet (we both hate them!) and athletic legs (grown to accept them).
FH loves my mom and thinks she's goofy like me

its funny. Growing I dint want to be anything like my Mom. shes really critical of me and we never git alone. We look nothing alike. I look like my Dad.
but now I realize she's kinda awesome even though she's a bit crazy lol.
she graduated college at 20! yeah...has 2 masters degrees. pretty awesome.
well, we both read really fast, like a book a day. we both love animals, science and nature. we both say really goofy things. have the same love of old movies. we'll call each other and say omg, Roman Holiday is on right now!
we're also really different. she doesn't get me...my love of Halloween, or the fact that I love to stay ion bed late, but I could do worse being like her.

My mom and I have the like same voice and personality. We both love dancing, joking around, baking, cooking... Everyone says we look alike which makes me happy because my Mom is beautiful I hope to be an amazing mom some day as she has been to me and I hope to always be as strong as she is in any situation.

I definitely inherited my mom's anal-ness about cleaning! Maybe because she always drilled it into my head that I HAD to clean every weekend and get every nook and cranny dusted and every spec off the floor. I know it's not technically a bad habit to get into but it is something I definitely got from her.
I blame her for me having a loud voice because I needed to talk like that to be heard over hers! LOL.
People say I look just like her (personally I don't see it but isn't that always the case?)
I definitely inherited the wide hips from her side of the same, though she will tell you it's my father's side (even though her own sisters say 'Yes it's our side').
I would say that I also inherited her giving nature. I love doing things for other people (even if sometimes I really don't want to). My mom has always been the one that if you need a ride somewhere (even out of state) she'd do it. If I need someone to pick me up at the bar at 3am, she'd do it.

i am nothing like my mom and i wish i was more like her. she has so much patience and can really try to stay calm and rational about things but sometimes, i fly off the handle before i can do any of those things.

I look just like my mom and we're about the same height as well. I am very much like my mom in that I always like to keep a clean house, I'm super organized and I love to cook. My momma's awesome!
