All of our big checks are out of the way, and now it's down to the details. So this leads to today's question:
What little detail about your wedding will you find most annoying to accomplish?
Well, this detail isn't 'little' but I'm NOT looking forward to the seating chart! I'm not of the school of thought of other regions where there isn't one, and everyone chooses wherever they want to sit. But I have relatives that don't get along, and sitting them will be a chore!

I would have to completely agree!!! The seating chart is by far the most annoying and I am not looking forward to it at all!! I am hoping that it will just flow easily but you never know.

I'd say seating chart too, but to kind of go with that, I'm REALLY not looking forward to contacting people who don't RSVP by the correct date. I had to contact half of my SIL's guest list for her shower when I gave people a month to respond and I'm sure I'll be doing it again for my wedding. I think it's so rude. I'm giving you a SASE, all you have to do is check a box, write your name, and drop it in the mailbox. It could not be any easier to do!

I think the placecards are going to be the most annoying to complete as well! We are putting the placecards into photobooth frames and then telling the guests to replace the placecard with their photobooth strip to take home with them. It's going to be annoying to have to figure out who is sitting where. But then having to type out everyone's placecard, cut them, and put them into the frames is going to drive me nuts! especially if people don't RSVP on time (which they won't i'm sure!)
As of right now I'm not too concerned about the seating chart because I already have ideas in my head as to where people will be.
I think I'm most concerned about the RSVPs coming back. I don't want to have to chase people down and my mom had to do it for our freakin' engagement party! I feel like people just have no wedding etiquette these days!

Good job this week and congratulations Futuremap!! I must be out of my mind after reading all of the posts because I'm looking forward to doing my seating chart the most. I do it for all of my family's events and just look at it like a big puzzle that needs to fit together perfectly so all the pieces are happy. What I think is going to be the most annoying is figuring out the mother/son dance. FH is as distant as can be from his birth mom and super close with his stepmom (who's helping out with the cost). They're both going to be there and while he would dance with his stepmom, he doesn't want to hurt his birth mom and if he dances with his birth mom, his stepmom will be offended. So, he doesn't want one but I really want him to have one since I'm having two father/daughter dances and I think it just looks silly to have 2 father/daughter dances with no mother/son dance. Another thing I already know I'll find annoying is taking the information that's on our website and coming up with a 'who knows the bride and groom contest' at the very end as a way of auctioning off the centerpieces.

seating chart will be hard for sure... and dealing with the unwanted dramas that other always bring to a wedding lolol

Seating chart!! for sure!! any project like that where you have to wait until the very last minute to do is going to annoy me.

everything that can't be done ahead of time is annoying to me! I'm too nervous to store a million paper goods so that I'm waiting on and I think it's annoying that I can't have all my ducks in a row ASAP lol

Finding our bands.. FH doesnt even want a seating chart.. He is all bout sit where you want to sit and eat then get up and party.. He is totally against teh seating chart. I am trying to tell him that we will need one for like the first hour at least.. I will win this battle but I have an idea in my head where I am sitting everyone at least..
