OK.. I cant take credit for this QOTD.. I came across it and thought it was great for us 2011'ers because we all seem to love LIW !! I obviously changed it around, but you get the idea.

So the question is all about our favorite pasttime... LIW!!

How did you find out about LIW? Where you at one point a lurker? What made you join?

I don't remember exactly how I found out about the website prob from the bridal showcase and google.

I like to go on LIW any chance i get- its a little bit of an addiction.. that is embarrassing to admit to non LIW people...


My fav part of the site is sharing pics with all of you girls and forming friendships with people who you have something in common with!!


My FH thinks im a nut but i think he secretly likes that im soo Wedding obsessed!!!


I think i def will miss the planning but ready to start my life as a wife and plan my future!!!

Only for about a month or so, I would read everyones reviews!

What made you join?
I wanted in on the fun

More day than night, but pretty much all the time.

EDIT: I COMPLETED LIED HERE OMG!! I SIGNED UP ALMOST 9 MONTHS LATER!! BUT A MONTH OR SO AFTER I STARTED REALLY PLANNING!

What is your favorite part about the site?
The girls ! Ive met some awesome people who I can really relate to. But I LOVE ME SOME REVIEWS!!

What does FH think of the site and/or your addicition?
He wants to throw my laptop in the ocean.
But he is happy that im so into planning, and he is happy i am meeting such awesome people.

What do your friends/family think about the site and your cyber friends?
My friends think i have lost my mind! No one gets it LOL
But my mom is a secret lurker, so i dont let her fool me! HI MOM!

Are you going to miss the planning when it is all over or be relieved? I know im going to miss it.. all this for one day, and then its over!!

How did you find out about LIW? Where you at one point a lurker? What made you join? I was MOH for my sisters wedding, I found it while googling stuff for her. I totally lurked for a while, then signed on so I could talk to people about what I needed to do as MOH. Then I lurked some more when her wedding was over and before we got engaged.

Are you a day or night LIWer? (what time are you usually on and for how long?) How long after you got engaged did you sign up? I'm usually sporadic throughout the day, depending on whether my boss is roaming about. I signed up 2 years before I got engaged lol

What is your favorite part about the site? I love talking to other people who know what I'm going through and who don't just want to give me their opinion that I really don't want ahem, family.

FH doesn't mind it since I'm not really on it at night when its time to hang with him. Sometimes he even has questions for me to ask you girls. My family thinks its weird that I'm on here, but whatever.

Do you see yourself still on the site as a newlywed? I am going to be so relieved when its all over, and no offense to anyone, but I'll probably not come on much after 2011, except to see everyones pics

What made you join? After complaining that it was too hard to navigate...Kedra convinced me to just TRY...so I did.

Are you a day or night LIWer? (what time are you usually on and for how long?) I am on pretty much ALL day at work. I very rarely go on at home unless it's Big Brother night...then I watch and play on here.

Pretty much right away.

I think I was just doing some google searches and it popped up - i was looking for RH's and info about the Riviera was available here. I was neve really a lurker - I signed up right away b/c i saw all the message boards and wanted to read reviews.

I'm mostly a day - since I WFH and am on the computer all day. I'm on alllll daaay lol i freelance so i have a lot of downtime to make myself go crazy with all the ideas here. I signed up only a couple weeks (maybe 2) after we got engaged lol

My fav part is the reviews and when girls post pics. Having the ability to learn about different vendors and ideas is also a lot of fun. FH thinks its great and funny - we both consider it a credible source for things so its been helpful. My friends laugh - i have a couple who have used it or are on it now so they kinda get it lol

I think I will miss planning - so far it has actually been an enjoyable thing for me. I know some people really didnt like it - i guess its still early so hopefully it still stays this good. I do think I will still stick around - hopefully not as much b/c then that would mean I would be working fulltime lol

How long after you got engaged did you sign up? I signed up a long time after and I wish it was earlier, we got engaged in August and I signed up in March!!!!!!!

What is your favorite part about the site? I love the comradery around here!!!!!!!! Seriously, I love my LIW girls for always listening and always willing to assist another bride to be!!!
What does FH think of the site and/or your addicition? FH thinks it's so funny and he knows I'm addicted, he laughs about it. He and my mom call you guys my VFs(Virtual Friends). The time I told him I was going to the track to walk with you ladies, I swear he prob sat in the HS parking lot to make sure I was ok!!! He was like why are you going when it's so late, it might be dark out, what if something happens?nurotic much? LMFAO
What do your friends/family think about the site and your cyber friends? My mom loves this site and says that it's good I have you guys to speak about the wedding to, as no one but my fam and FH want to listen to my wedding talk! My friends prob think I'm a weirdo!!!

I love everything about this site! the girls, the advice, the love, everything!! FH thinks it's great for helping us plan but he sometimes think i'm on it just a tad bit too much. My friends dont know im on here. HAH! But my sisters think this is an insane addiction! My one sister couldn't believe that i went to the wineries to meet random ppl from the internet. she seriously had this look of concern on her face!!! Like - are you f*cking CRAZY!?!?!?

I was researching RH's and this site kept on popping up. I lurked for a while and finally made an account to ask a question. I never formally introduced myself either. It is long overdue now

Definitely daytime/weekday LIWER. That is when I'm at work! Usually when I get home FH and I spend time together watching t.v etc so I try not to be rude and go on the computer. I signed up a month after we got engaged

My favorite part about the site is all the ladies! I get paranoid talking about weddings with my friends since I wonder if I'm boring/bragging/etc. Fh rolls his eyes at me and thinks I'm looney tunes. Friends and family don't know...i don't want more lurkers!

I am going to be so relieved when this is over. Too many decisions and money riding on one dayyyy. I can't wait to just party the day of and go on my honeymoon! And yes. I will be here afterwards...I want to see the rest of 2011 brides get married!!!

I found out about LI Weddings from Gina (LaBellaVita). I was never a lurker, I actually refused to join until I got engaged.

I go on mostly during the day but sometimes at night too. I singed up a few days after I got engaged.

My favorite thing about this site is being able to have other brides to talk to that understadn the things I am dealing with, having everyones advice & opinions and knowing that I have a ton of girls on here who are always will to listen and help. I love being able to express my excitement about things for my wedding and having other people (you ladies) get excited too My FH thinks the site is good cause I always tell him how sweet all you girls are and how much help I have gotten just from being on here.

I think I will miss the planning and talking to you girls daily..but I will be so excited to be married to the love of my life and look foward to staring our new journey together! I most def will be on the site after the wedding... I would miss you ladies too much LoL.. but I guess thats what G2G will be for even after the wedding!

I've been a member of LIF for several years, so I knew about LIW through that. I joined because it's nice to have people to talk to about the wedding without their eyes glazing over. LOL.

I am a day time, at work LIWer. I'm never on when I'm home or on the weekends. I started lurking a few months before we got engaged, then I started actively posting.

My favorite part is being able to have a group of fantastic ladies to bounce ideas off, support each other when we are stressed or dealing with the FIL's, and just having people to talk to. I don't have a group of girlfriends out here that I can do that with and it means a lot to be able to have some of the excitement with someone, even though I'm far away.

So far I have been really lucky that the planning hasn't been stressful. We've both really enjoyed ourselves and have gone with the flow. I think I'll be happy to be married mostly. I think I will still come on as a newlywed. Don't see why not.

Once we started to talk about getting married I did a search something like LI Reception Halls and this wonderful website popped up. I set up an account like 2 months before I was engaged so yes i was a lurker for a bit and couldnt wait till I got my ring. I joined because it seems like a good place to get wedding advice.

It depends on how busy at work I am. Most of the day I am on my BB reading sometimes Ill post but its fustrating because I cant quote posts anymore on BB. Other then that I am like an evening poster and Ill keep coming back periodically. 2 months before I was engaged I was signed up I think I posted the 2nd after I was engaged LOL

The friends Ive made and the people Ive met. He used to hate it but now he doesnt care since we've made some pretty awesome friends from here. My family could careless and Ive tried to get my cousin who is getting married in Aug on here for months.
