Lately I have been trying to plan the 'entertainment' portion of the wedding. And also in light of the popularity of that youtube video of that bride and grooms surprise ceremony entrance........here is todays QOTD.....
Is there anything about your ceremony or reception that you are planning to be a surprise to either FH or your guests?
I won't go into too much detail because I know I have a few lurkers lol...but...FH and I are trying to plan a surprise grand entrance which will be a surprise to our guests (if we manage to plan something)...and we are keeping our first dance song a secret, along with some surprises that may occur during our first dance

during the ceremony we are doing a surprise for our mothers...its a rose ceremony where we take a moment to thank our mothers and give each one a rose
i am also surprising FH with a grooms cake at the reception

I and FH want to take a dance lesson to learn how to Waltz for our 1st dance. also, and this is something my mom suggested, to have a belly dancer, ball room dancers, or some other performance for the reception, or to have a live guitarist for the CH. will see how we are with the budget and then decide

So far, no. We could've made the stupid Hulk ice sculpture a surprise....but FH went and told EVERYONE.
I am surprising him with a groom's cake at the RD though. And I'm trying my best to get him to take dance lessons with me, so he'll dance at the wedding. THAT would be a surprise to everyone, since FH hates to dance.

We got a photo booth and want to keep it a surprise. I was so happy when I took my BM to lunch and I told them that we had a surprise and my cousin mentioned that her and her bf went to a wedding that had a photo booth and it was so much fun. Everyone is going to love it!

I'm still contemplating about getting FH a groom's cake. FH and I want to do a choreographed first dance, so that might be a surprise.

hmmm havent really planned any surprises yet....but im thinking of getting FH a cake for the RD and a 'theme' garter also sounds like a good idea
