Good morning everyone! We are halfway to the weekend!

Today's question has to do with fashion.

1. What would you consider your own 'personal style' on a day to day basis? i.e. Classic, conservative, edgy, trendy, laid back?

2. Does your personal style translate to your wedding gown/future wedding gown, or do you think you will throw everyone for a loop?

My personal style on a daily basis is very simple and classic. I do not fall into trends usually. For example, a typical fall/winter outfit for me for the past 10 years is a black v-neck long sleeve shirt, jeans, and black boots. Maybe in recent years I would add a scarf or something, lol. My engagement ring is a round solitaire on a white gold band and my friends all said it's perfect for me. Simplicity. FH does not like if I wear anything with a frill, a bow, a flower... he makes fun of it! lol

When my grandma saw me in my wedding gown, she said 'It's exactly what I always envisioned you in.' I don't think I will be shocking anyone with my choice.

I don't think I have much fashion sense lol but I would call my 'style' comfortable and laid back. Jeans, boots, sundresses in the summer, casual but generally neat. I tend to not wear a lot of jewelery, I am def not a 'blingy' type person although my E-ring has some bling lol

But my 'style' reflects in my Wedding Dress style, I haven't picked one yet, but I'm drawn to dresses that aren't blingy or glitzy, beautiful but comfortable. In general I don't wear white/ivory so that's something different for sure, and my wedding dress will probably be the 'most girly' anyone will have ever seen me.

Uhhhmm. I don't think I'd have a 'style' necessarily. I just wear what I like and what is comfy. I typically like to wear dresses because I don't have to worry about putting together an outfit lol. Its just a one shot deal. Although, let me say that because I wear dresses so much... Tom thinks I'm a 'girly girl'. I'm just lazy.

I do like 'different' things. Mainly because I just like to be different and difficult. My engagement ring is an antique vintage ring that my jeweler got from an estate sale.

My wedding gown however.... is something that I NEVER thought I'd be in. I thought I wanted something either tea length and puffy (think 1950s) OR... long and flowy and ethereal.

My dress (which I originally tried on as a joke because I thought it was gaudy and over the top so I needed to make a joke) is big with lace and satin and roses and bling all over the bodice. I have pics in my album :)

My dress definitly represents my style!! I am very simple and plain . I do not like a lot of bling. And that is my dress.. pic in my album..

One Christmas my mom bought me a pair of jeans with bling on the pocket and FH was like' you like them??' I was like they are comfy.. he was like but they 'sparkle'. I was like yea but its the pockets I can cover it up.. LOL.. Even he knows I like things plain and simple!

I wear a lot of jeans/shorts and tank tops with a sweatshirt over it if it's chilly so I guess it's laid back. There are some days though when I wear dresses but it's rare since I work with children and am constantly on the floor playing with them or picking something up.

My dress is very feminine since it has lace, bling, a decent sized train, is strapless, and has a belt with a huge flower on it. My close family and friends (people who really know me) won't be surprised at all but the people who I don't see often and my bosses will be shocked. My mom said 'it definitely has you written all over it' but my boss who has seen it said 'I never would have thought you'd wear something like that.'

I don't really fall into a particular style. I like to be casual and comfy. Jeans and boots or sneakers. I know flats are a huge thing now, but truth be told, I'd much rather be in sneakers and I'm lucky enough to be in a job where I can wear jeans and sneakers every day. I guess all things considered, I'm pretty conservative. I don't like to show too much (I'm really self-conscious about my chest).

My dress is basically what I envisioned myself in when I first started shopping, and nobody will be surprised by it. It's a classic, timeless look.

My style has changed dramatically over the years. These days, I wear whatever is comfortable. I traded in my heels for flip flops/sneakers and my dresses for jeans and t-shirts. Luckily, I don't work in a corporate environment anymore, so pretty much anything goes. I used to wear a ton of black, but since we adopted a pure white dog who loves to cuddle, I hardly wear dark colors anymore. I've collected a ton of jewelry over the years (used to work in a store that sold beautiful handmade pieces), but hardly wear anything other than my e-ring (solitaire set in plain polished platinum band) and equally simple pendant (FH got me for our first anniversary) except for special occasions.

My dress is super simple and comfortable, so I don't think I'll be shocking anyone with that. Now, if I showed up in a big, poofy, blingy or princessy dress, that would have definitely surprised anyone who knows me.

1. I really don't think I have any fashion sense and I'm not a huge designer shopper at all. My basic outfit consists on shorts with a tank top or a sundress in the spring/summer. Fall I usually wear jeans, boots and shirt/sweater. I'm pretty boring but I stick to what I like as opposed to trying to fit in with what everyone else is wearing- mainly because I feel like I can't pull half the outfits off lol

2. My dress is different than anyone thought I would get. When I got my dress my mom just kept saying 'I just can't believe you're going with lace- I just can't believe it!'

I'm 100% trendy. I love every fashion fad that's out there. I even do trend research at my job to see what styles will be coming out next season. Now that I'm saving for the wedding, my style has become sort of edgy...as I'm taking past trends and revamping them into something new. This is all bc I can't go shopping! lol

As far as our wedding, I'd say it's mostly classic, with a touch of trend. I'm going for the whole Great Gatsby theme which I feel like is a 'thing' right now due to the movie.

I don't really have a style. I like COMFORT!! I like to wear yoga pants, hoodies, t-shirts, jeans flip flops/uggs. I also like to wear dresses in the summer time with flip flops. I am not fancy at all. When I am home I am in PJs and when I am at work I am in yoga pants or cotton capris and a t-shirt with either flip flops, sneakers or uggs. I really only get dressed 'up' if Fh and I have somewhere to go. I am a casual dresser!

My personal style is lazy haha and if I had it my way I would be having a pajama party wedding, that didn't go over well with my mom or FH. My dress will definitely NOT be surprising for anyone because it is a traditional ball gown dress and in spite of being lazy with my wardrobe I am a traditionlist and am in love with it. I think it suits me perfectly and I can NOT wait to see FH's reaction when I walk down the aisle

My style is pretty classic/preppy. I usually wear items from JCrew and Anthropologie. I HATE wearing pants, so you can usually find me in a casual dress or skirt outside of work. I try to avoid wearing anything too loud - I like to keep it basic with one signature item such a fun necklace or bright cardigan. I love stripes!

I think my dress translates into this. It is a very feminine pure lace gown with a trumpet fit. There isn’t any “bling” other than the Jim Hjelm belt I accidently fell in love with while trying on my gown (oops!), so that follows my one item rule!
