Hi Ladies and TGI Saturday. Hope everyone is enjoying this glorius day. Tons of stuff to do so Im going to get right to it:

Is there anyone who has inspired you in you life? It can be more than one person. (Family, friend, public figure, celebrity, pet...) How has this had an effect on your wedding overall (planning, what you envisioned, etc)?

My mom who died seven years ago this month definitely inspired me. She didn't have much but knew how to make the world of it, she was the most loving person I've ever met (not just bc she was my mom) and she was sick for a while but kept on doing the best she could what what she had. This effected my wedding planning by keeping me humble. We don't have the largest budget and I don't need a big extravagant pretty pretty princess wedding. Her ways helped me to keep my expectations in proportion. And, that its not just about a day but about your lives.

My step mom who died 5 1/2 yrs ago also inspired me. She always encouraged me to be creative and was my personal cheerleader for all of my art projects and writing. This has an effect on my wedding because I have all these little creative & affordable ideas that I want to do to make our wedding a little more personal to us.

Hope this question makes sense, Im in a rush! LOL

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

I think the one person would be my dad- he is my rock- always there for me....when I blab about wedding ideas he actually listens and gives his opinion. I feel blessed to have him as a dad & to be able to have him walk me down the aisle.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic saturday!

SO sorry about these passing of you mother and step mom, I can only imagine how hard wedding planning is without them. Truly, I almost cried when I read your post. I'm sure that they are both proud to see how you have incorporated both of their legacies into your wedding plans.

For me the most inspirational person would have to be my baby brother, who passed away when he was 8. He was the happiest person I've ever met. Energetic, fun, caring, sweet. He was a fighter till the very end.The smallest things would make him happy, and I know that he is looking down on me. On my wedding day, he would have been 21 years old. I am going to have a memory locket on my bouquet for him.

Hi Linda!!! TGI Saturday is right

Hope you all have an awesome day today!

This probably sounds cheesy, lol but you girls are my inspiration! I love getting ideas from you all. Some of you are so creative and talented in your DIY and others have great advice. If it weren't for you girlies I probably would be so behind in planning!

My mom!

She worked her *** off when I was growing up to make sure my brother and I were well taken care of. Whether it meant getting a 2nd job around the holidays or anything else, we never heard her complain. She never received a penny from my father and we always had everything we needed.

She truly taught me that I don't need to be in a relationship, and I don't need to be married to have kids and a family. I am getting married to my FH because I love him!

I got a lot of inspiration from not only you girls but also my aunt whos wedding was in 2003. So a lot of the ideas I have for my own wedding came from her.

My mom has been my inspiration since my parents split up in 1990. She worked 2 jobs to provide for my sister and I. She gave up so much so that we would have all of the necessities. (Food, clothing and a place to call home)

I learned to appreciate the toys and clothes I had, and didn't ask for every little thing because I knew that it was difficult to provide us with those extras.

With our wedding planning, it has helped to keep me level headed and keep an eye on our budget.

I have also learned how to be a better decision maker.

Linda - that was a great set of questions!
