I have come to find that my new favorite passtime is to browse the web and look at images of other peoples weddings - ruffled is my current favorite blog!
I find that pictures are also my favorite part of this website (aside from you awesome ladies!) Soooo i decided to make this week PICTURE WEEK! I want to include pictures with all of our answers!
Todays 3 part question is spawned from my current picture / DIY obsession - the flower girl!
How many children are in your wedding? Do they have siblings? How did you choose the children in your wedding party?
For me -we have 2 ring bearers that are 7 year old twins - they are my FH's little brothers and 2 flower girls, FH's little sister and his goddaughter. The goddaughter has a sister who is not involved in the wedding and this has been plaguing me because I feel so guilty she isn't included - so we went and bought her most of the same presents we are giving to the FG's so she doesn't feel left out.
Cute idea and I love the idea of picture week. I only have one child and he is my brother who is 12 and he will be the ring bearer. Even though he is too old to be called that we are calling him ring security.

Only 1 kid. Currently he's the youngest of 3 boys. The other 2 are a bit too old to be a ring bearer, so it wasn't a hard decision. He's going to be a big brother to a little sister in December though. As much as we'd love to put her in the wedding party, she will be a little too young.

We are having one ringbearer - he is my cousin's son and we are delighted to have him. We don't have any other kids in our family so it was a pretty easy decision for us.

I am having my nephews (will be ages 9 and 7.5 at time of wedding) and my niece (will be almost 9) as FG.
I think part of my gift to them will be to pay for their tuxes and dress, since I am pretty sure their parents (my evil SIL and my cheap*ss sister) wont want to. lol
Happy Monday!

We have 2 FG's 1 RB and a Jr. BM.
One flower girl (will almost be 4 at the time of the wedding) is my cousin's daughter and the other is FH's cousin's daughter (will also almost be 4 at the time of the wedding) . FH's cousin also has another girl but she'll only be 2 next year so we figured she'd be too young so she'll stay with her other grandparents that night.
My RB (he'll be 5) is my first cousin and he was basically given the title of RB at birth even though I was no where near engaged yet lol
My Jr. BM is a little girl I have babysat for since she was a year and a half old. She'll be 10 (almost 11) by the time we get married next year and is practically like a little sister to me.
ETA: These are the only children invited to our wedding.

We are not having any kids in the wedding party. We don't have kids are flower girl or ring bearer age. 11 months is a little too young and that is how old my nephew will be

We have 1 RB. It's FH's nephew who will be 3 at the wedding. We're hoping that's old enough to hold a pillow and walk down the aisle by himself! When we asked my FSIL if we could have him be our RB we just said, 'so have him start carrying around a pillow at home to practice.' She was thrilled we asked so I imagine he really is going to be practicing..
We don't have any girls on either side that we're close to/are old enough to be the FG. One of my BMs has a daughter who will be a little over a year, but it's too young. She'll just wear a flower dress, anyway :)

No children in our party- or at our wedding! we will be having a child-free wedding!...there are no children in my family for me to make them flower girl/ring bearers...and even in my extended family- there aren't too many children that I'd consider close enough to invite

We will have my niece and nephew as ring bearer and flower girl. My brother and my best friend both had children last year 2 months apart, so definitely needed to include my munchkins!

We are only having a flower girl. She will be my niece.
I am not sure if we were supposed to add pictures or just Lindsay, but I am adding my flower girl basket inspiration picture just in case....
We will have 3 FG 1 RB and 1 Jr.BM at our wedding. All are FH's nieces and nephew
The flower girls are sisters. The oldest will 5 at our wedding. The 2 younger girls are identical twins and they will be 3 at the wedding. The younger ones are going through a shy stage right now, so I'm not sure if they will make it down the aisle, but if they don't, they will still match their sister and I know the 5 year old will walk down the aisle.
The RB will be 5 as well and his older sister will 10, almost 11 at our wedding. She will the jr. BM. These will be the only children at our wedding, and the plan is for now to have them have their own sleepover party at the hotel, because they won't be at the reception, its adults only.
Lindsay, I LOVE your FG basket. Currently, I'm lusting after this

Our flowergirl will be my god -daughter is will be 7 at the time. She is so excited since her favorite color is purple which happens to be the color bridesmaids are wearing I decided instead of her wearing white she will wear lavender
There are some issues regarding a ring bearer- FH has a nephew who will be 1and half at the time of the wedding. I would love for him to be part of the wedding but unfortunately FH sister has made it known she doesn't like me. I have told FH it is his decision but he seems to want to keep her involvement as minimal as possible since she was not happy when we got engaged for him at all

I wish there weren't that many kids in my family but there are. Plus I have like 5 godchildren so I want to incorporate some of them in the Bridal Party.
Ringbearer is my 1st Godson 2 Flower girls are my cousins daughters. Lil Groom is my MOH's son Lil Bride is my God-daughter
And that is all the kids in the bridal party.

lmao guys think they are so funny! A few of FH friends have offered to be the RB or even the FG! Men!
To answer the QOTD, I am currently having major anxiety over this. I have a god daughter who is a twin, and they will be almost 4 at the wedding. When I got engaged it was pretty much a given that they would be my FGs, however I do NOT want them at the reception because I don't trust their mother to control them. Since the ceremony is at the RH, I am willing to pay a babysitter of their choice to come get them, but I know this is still going to be a fight.
Other than that, my 9 year old cousin, who is coming from FL, we are calling a junior groomsman, and he is going to hold the Here Comes the Bride sign.
