QOTD 8/15

Hi ladies!!!

Thank you so much for picking me Christina my date twin!!!!

I'll try my best not to repeat questions but here it goes:

Do you and your FH have any nicknames for each other and if so what are they and how did you come up with them?

I call FH Pooh Bear and he calls me Cupcake,

Pooh Bear was seriously a fluke. As we started dating I tried calling him every cutesy name out there and he would always reject them and comment back with things like 'try again' or 'nope, not gonna happen.' We laughed at a lot of them because I literally tried everyone I could think of. So one night I sent him a text while he was at work and called him Pooh Bear. He kept right on with the conversation and never 'rejected' it so it stuck! Turns out he said he must have skipped over that in the text because he doesn't even remember seeing it. I call him pooh bear all over and now even some of his friends call him that as a joke.

Cupcake, hmmm, this one is kinda funny. He used the 'C' word one day (the 'c' word that every woman hates, not at me though at someone else. I told him I hate that word more than anything, use another. So, typical FH, he said 'well what would you want me to call her, a cupcake?'. So, I said sure, anything but that word. After that he would joke and say 'You're being such a cupcake' all the time when I was being a pain in the a$$. So he started calling me cupcake and that was that. Kinda sucks knowing where it derived from but I know he says it with love lol

No, we don't really have exciting nicknames...just call each other baby. I call my cat 'monster' sometimes, and now my FH responds to that, but more so as a joke.

we dont really have any nicknames for each other, just the normal hun sweetie sweetheart etc...

FH never calls me Laurie, it's always some nickname he has come up with in his head. The original started as Tush. That moved to Tushy, Tushy-Pants, Pants, Pockets, now it's Pocketbooks. He also has a whole other side of nicknames including Monkey, Popsicles and Pumpkin (and when I drink pumpkin spice lattes in the fall, he calls me that). And once in awhile he'll throw in a baby, honey or sweetheart. But usually he favors Tushy and Popsicles.

I call him the boring ones like Honey, Sweetie and Baby. I only call him Shane when he annoys me.

I started calling him Babe when we first started dating. f I had sat down and thought about it, I would have picked something more original, but it was so natural and it stuck. After a while, FH started calling me Babe too. We rarely call each other anything else now.

my FH has so many nick names for me its adorable. it started off with duckie cuz he says i have a duckbill for a mouth, then it went to duckster, duckbert, binky, pancake, princess duckworth omg too many to list lol i think its so cute...i only call him Boo or Babe.

FH calls me 'Doll Face' ('dawl' with an exaggerated NY accent because he's from Seattle), and I call him an array of things (usually 'Sweet Love').

We usually just call eachother babe or hun. But for pet names, FH calls me Loca, b/c he thinks I am crazy! I call him chuletta (pork chop). It was like the 1st spanish word he taught me at a restaurant one night & i guess i liked the sound and kept calling him that.

I usually call him Babe or Philly... He usually calls me babe or Meliss... we're so original, I know lol

Jay calls me his babehz... yes that would kind of be a plural form ? lol idk..
I call him Jay or Babe.. or honey.. nothing special lol

I mean sure we yell 'babe, can you bring me x' but the REAL DEAL nicknames have wayy tooo much of a back story. They shall remain untold.

FH calls me baby or 'dems' because the first time he met one of my students, that was how the kid approximated my name (I know, it sounds nothing like Jill, but he has since improved lol). The kid was yelling 'I want dems!' so FH thought it was hilarious.

I am not as creative call him Ry, baby, or patrick (his middle name).
