QOTD 8/20

Goooood Morning Lovely Ladies of LIW!!!

Here is another NWR QOTD comin your way:

I was recently having a conversation with my BM's mom about a book she was reading in which the charachter was making her list of 25 things to do before she turned 25...

Well I am already 28, but I want to make some type of variation of this list. What would be some of the things on all of your Life Experiences 'To-Do Lists'????

the only one to do on my list is to marry my fh and start a family...if i can do that everything else will fall into place...

Good question! Here's some off the top of my head.

- Learn how to cook!!!
- Go white water rafting
- Maybe try sky diving
- Live in the house of my dreams!
- Have a family
- Reunite with my old best friend
- Travel outside of the U.S.
- Become a semi-decent snowboarder
- Live happily ever after

Try Sky Diving
Walk on a Glacier (hopefully get to do this with in the next year in Alaska)
See the all of the wonders of the world! I saw some but i want to see all!

Definitely want to travel as much as possible... especially Europe!

Plus getting married, having babies and all that other good stuff.

Buy a house.

Getting my PHD.
Go to Italy.
Learn how to swim.
Write a children's book.
Train FH to go through his mail and pick up his dirty clothes!

I had this discussion when I was turning 30.....I felt like I had no goals.....well I ended up going to law school because of that discussion. So I've already accomplished that. Other than that I want to go to snowboard camp and learn to jump.

oh jeez...there's a lot of stuff on my 'bucket list'

* hike to the top of machu picchu in peru
* experience pregnancy & motherhood
* grow my own fruits & veggies in my own yard
* swim in the pacific ocean
* see a live volcano (hawaii)
* ride an elephant in thailand
* see shakespeare performed in london
* sleep in a real european castle
* visit my sister in wisconsin during the corn festival
* ride a quad
* host both my and FH's family for the holidays
* bake a souffle
* rent a beachfront bungalo
* say my vows on the beach with the crashing waves and sand between my toes (if not this time around, def at our renewal ...we'll see what mama nature has in store )
* swim with the sharks (the nice kind that don't try to eat you)
* learn to scuba dive
* go white water rafting
* eat lobster in at a seaside restaurant in maine
* throw a surpise party
* make teacher of the year
* go on a real african safari in madagascar
* cruise the inside passage of alaska

WELL I AM WITH MOST OF U I WOULD BE HAPPY TO TRAVEL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, HAVE KIDS, BUY A NICE HOUSE, AND OF COURSE GROW OLD WITH MY HUSBAND!!!!

Buy a summer home.

Work as a counselor helping people suffering from addiction- even if I could volunteer.

Travel to Cuba. My Mom is from there and I want to see it.

Travel to Egypt. I will go there someday.

Take two vacays a year and have a new car every 5 years and live comfortably and not foolishly.

1. Get over my fear of flying
2. Spend a few weeks in England (What kind of British Lit teacher would I be if I have never actually seen England or experienced British culture?)
3. Take a class at Oxford
4. Learn another language
5. Travel all over the world!
