QOTD 8/21

Morning ladies!!!! First, I can't believe it's almost Monday again
Second, when I wrote the date I was shocked! Where did the summer go? Time is flying but that means our weddings will be here before we know it!

So congrats to Mara on being asked to be a MOH!! Now knowing what the bride goes through I am sure you will make a great MOH! Your post lead me to my last QOTD!

My QOTD is, how many weddings have you and/or you FH been in or will yours be your first?

I've been in one. None of my close friends have gotten married yet, even as old as we are lol. Sorry guys if you're reading this but yea, we're old!

FH has been in 5 and will be in # 6 this November. The November one will be his first BM one though After that all of his friends will be married, complete opposite of my friends!

I have been a MOH in 1 wedding and a BM in 6 others. I'm 33 so most of my friends are already married. FH and I are old too!

I have been in 3 weddings so far. FH has been in two weddings (although it should have been 3 also but he had to turn his friend down because we didn't think we would be able to go t the wedding because of work)

This is the firs time I am going to be MOH so that is exciting.

FH and I have never been in a wedding. Ours will be the first! FH actually has never gone to a wedding! We will both be in a wedding after ours for his cousin.

Hey I'm 33 too and none of my close friends have gotten married yet. I'm the first one. Fh's friends are all generally the same age and he's the last one to marry. Go figure!

I've been MOH once and BM in four other weddings while FH has been in 6 weddings. I think our wedding is one of the last since we are also old, aka over 30 .

FH has been a best man in on wedding and then he was in three others. None of my friend are married or engaged! im the first! so this will be my first wedding

I feel like I need to make a tally chart to answer this question.

I have to start with being a FG bc I feel like it set a trend for my life

and I'm scared about this girl that may or may not ask me...hoping she sticks to family

FH has been a GM in 5 with 2 more coming up this year (most of his friends now married).

I've been a BM in 2 (most of my friends not married).

I have been a MOH three times, but I have never been a BM. I don't know what that says...?

FH has been a Jr GM and an Usher, but most of our friends are gay, so I can see a lot more weddings for us in the future...

neither of us have been in any weddings. FH did do a reading at a wedding but that is all.

I am the first of my friends to be getting married, but i'm pretty sure the next couple of years will be pretty eventful for us!!

I feel like the past 4 years of my life has been all about weddings! So many of my friends have been married and I was lucky enough to be in their weddings :)

I have been MOH twice. I have been a BM 3 times, my fourth time will be next May for my sister. And the next dress I have to order for a wedding, lucky #7, will be own bridal gown FH has been a GM once. I guess you could say I'm more of a wedding professional than he is

I was in my Aunt's wedding in 1997, which I don't remember entirely, and since then I have been in my brother's in 2008 & my sis in 2010. (MOH in my sisters)

FH has been in his brothers 2002, cousin 2005, friend 2010, cousin 2010 (BM in brother & cousin)

I haven't been to many weddings in my life & then FH and I attended 5 weddings in 2010.

It's a big expense but a ton of fun to be in a wedding. I hope our bridal party feels the same way
