~QOTD 8/26/11~

So I think this question might help some people out who have not gotten this check complete. What are you getting your bridal party for gifts? If you haven;t bought it yet tell us what you are thinking about at least!

Boys: FH is thinking these nice watch boxes we found possibly with something else. Not sure yet

Ushers: Not sure :(

Flower girl: DOJ, personalized duffle bag

MOH: DOJ, personalized Lands End Tote, something else - not sure

BM - DOJ and I want to do nice cosmetic bags and also maybe pay for all the girls makeup.

Lot's to still figure out!

I guarantee my FH hasn't even begun to think about his GM gifts, but for the BM's, I was thinking of getting them silver necklaces with their first initials engraved in them. Just a thought! No idea what to get anyone else!

I got my girls a wine glass that has a bride and bridesmaids holding up a glass of wine on it. It says to life, love, and happily ever after. I would also like to but them a Dooney & Bourke wristlet. Also really love all the little trinkets in Party City. Purse Valet, wine stoppers. shoe bottle opened...etc

FH was thinking of getting each of his guys a jersey of their fave team.

For the girls I think I definitely want to get them Spa gift certificates as they love their massages! I'd like to get something else to but not sure what.

I got my BM - DOJ sets (bracelets, earrings and necklace from Macys)

I am thinking of getting the BM wine glasses and GM cufflinks as well

Best Man - Probably engrave his watch
MOH - probably a swaroski piece

I still have no idea what I am getting my girls, but FH has had the GM gift picked out for months. He is very excited about it, its an ipod nano with a wrist strap so you can wear it as a watch. FH wants to get himself one too (big surprise).

GM - Last wedding my FH was in the groom gave all the guys a gift card to peter luger's and they made plans to all go out to eat together after the wedding, FH wants to do that just at a different place. and i will be getting them all cufflinks or ties to wear the day of (already have them picked out on etsy)

BM;s - i have a list a mile long of things i wanna get my girls lol need to start narrowing it down a bit but once again etsy does not make it easy lol

FG - i'm gonna get her a sweet/pretty lil necklace and a cute lil hoodie to wear

GM - still up in the air, one of them will be 1yrs old so i have no clue lol

We haven't figured out everything we are giving them yet but so far we have:

Groomsmen: superhero cufflinks, personlized for each of their favorite superhero. (pics in my album, they are so cute!!)

BMs: Already picked out Land's End initial tote bags and pink totes umbrellas for them. Will also get them DOJ, and something extra for my sisters.

Flowergirl:just saw a totally cute personalized sweatshirt on etsy that I might get her!!

ringbearers: no idea!! ahh!!

BM's: Personalized duffel bag, clutch, compact mirror, heart picture frame with our picture in it, personalized wine glasses, earrings, bracelet, necklace.

My MOHs gifts might be a lotion set from Bath and Body.

MOH/BM: I saw this kate spade bangle that I really like. I am also paying for make-up and hair for them.

GM: FH wants to buy sandals to wear at the reception and maybe some other monogrammed thing-pen or something.

i was thinking about this yesterday and I'm wondering if getting apple giftcards is too impersonal or not. Thing is, I want to get something that will be used and almost everyone in BP wants a new ipod/ipad/iphone and are apple people. I'll probably get DOJ and something personalized.

the girls are getting necklaces that my FMIL made and engraved compacts and tank tops
the men are getting glass water bottles and my ring bearer i got him dog tags tat are engraved.
