QOTD 8/3/11

I was having trouble coming up with a question for the day and I decieded to make it about the bridal party.

Do you feel happy with your bridal party? Is there something you wish they would do differently?

For me: I just wish that my girls were more supportive - or showed that they care at all about one of the most important days of my life. They are all single and so I kinda feel like they dont understand where I currently am in my life

PS: I quit on the pics lol - how do we complain to LIW to fix that its soooooo annoying!

I wish they seemed more excited but other than that they have been okay. Not so supportive but I think it to early for them to be supportive.

Aww Lindsay, as I said yesterday, you can borrow my bridal party ;).

But really, my girls are great...one of them is a little impatient, but that's just how she is, and it's tolerable. My MOH is absolutely amazing, and could not ask for a better friend.

If I could do things differently, I definitely would have waited longer to ask my BP - 2 of my girls are super supportive and the rest don't seem to care...they are single so they think I am making a big deal out of everything...I already had to kick one girl out of my BP

First off, you scared me so much! My MOH's birthday is the 3rd, for a second I thought I missed it!

I always wanted a small bridal party. I have been a MOH twice, so I was just going to have those two girls as my co-MOH and not have any BM. I asked another friend to read a poem. She has never been a BM and she got really excited. She asked if she could buy a dress, help plan the shower, etc. I obviously love this girl, and she was clearly fishing for an invite to be a BM, so I decided to ask her. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it really won't hurt me and it made her so happy.

I am happy with my bridal party, but there hasn't been much to do yet. Three of them came BM dress shopping and the other 2 were OOT. I sent pics and websites of the BM dresses we found to keep them in the loop.

My MOH/sister is giving me a bit of a hard time w my potential shower, so I am basically planning it for now. I dont know that she will even come through w money but my BM's are aware of what is going on and reassured me that they want to help out. It just sucks bc they are literally all (except one broke local LI BM) OOT.

My bridal party is very small so it has been great so far. My MOH is my best friend & she has been beyond awesome. My two BMs are my cousin & my FSIL. I wish my cousin could be more involved but it isn't her fault she lives in Florida, is going to college & working full time so I know how that is

I'm very happy with my party so far. Of course this all just started and I haven't needed my girls to really do anything. They have their own lives and I know they don't want to discuss wedding stuff all the time with me. My MOH though is awesome and so supportive and helpful, as I knew she would be. My younger sister is also my MOH but she's fairly young and not as interested in wedding stuff, but she's supportive and listens to my ideas.

So far my girls have been great! very supportive, listening when I need them to listen and helping to make light of situations that annoy me.

I think my bridal party is perfect!- I knew I didn't want a big one- and it's hard because FH is the youngest of 6- so if we added them all in then the part would have been way bigger than I wanted.

i still haven't officially asked everyone in my bridal party. But the ones I have I love them and they have been 100% supportive and helpful.

I haven't offically asked all my BM yet, but will be doing so over the next 2 weeks. One of my future bridesmaids is getting married this weekend, I'm one of her BM, and she is so happy to 'pass the torch' onto me, lol. I just hope everyone says yes and it all runs smoothly.

overall im very happy with my BP whoever i could do without some of the comments/drama from a certain someone (gotta keep it on the D.L. in case of stalkers)

i havent even really started looking for BMdresses yet but was already informed by one of the girls 'idont like strapless bra's so i dont do halters or strapless dresses' and she already informed me what type of b-party she is 'into'

i just fore see the headaches......

I have 11 BM's (I know - ridiculous) but anyway, most of are great, but there are a couple that I wonder about... I didn't want to leave anyone out and I love them all so much. They have been with me at different parts of my life... I hope that closer to the wedding they start to care.

ETA : I don't know why I have so many posts on here!!! lol!
