OPEN BARS!!!!! YAY for that because it keeps the party going!!!! Will you have a signature drink to go with the OB? Will your drink match your theme or you and FH's personalities?

We're thinking of doing a signature drink. But we have no clue if it's going to match our personalities or the theme.
I'm thinking personalities because I can't think of or find a purple/lavender drink ANYWHERE!!!!!

We are having an open bar but we are limiting it. No top shelf stuff and are capping the $$ amount to about $1600. We are not having a signature drink. I'm not really a drinker at all and FH is a beer guy. German Wheat Beers to be exact.

We are going to have 2 signatyre drinks to go alojng with our color scheme and they are both something we enjoy.
Yellow Drink - Smirnoff Tuscan Lemonade with a splash of seltzer served over ice.
Green Drink - Midori Sour
I was going to try and be creative and think of names for the drinks (instead of their obvious names) but I'm over it LOL
EDIT: and yes we will be having open bar - everything included!

Open bars are great!! I will DEF be having one!
I love the idea of a signature drink. Even though FH and I aren't HUGE drinkers...It's just something fun to add to the mix. I'm throwing around ideas right now actually and am looking for suggestions for a fun, fall drink!

Oh wow.. I feel dumb.. I thought that people did signature drinks when they DIDN'T have an open bar! I so want to do one!!! Now I have to think of what I want!

we are having an open bar... with no signature drink we have a lot of wine drinkers coming so we are having bottles of wine on all the tables. i only drink wine once in a blue moon i a m more of a Malibu bay breeze and margarita and FH drinks mostly Guinness and Heineken

DEF open bar lol no questions.
Not really doing signature drinks but we are going to bring in some of our favs - FH's fav beer and my favorite wine so a part of us is represented.
I love the signature drink idea and if it comes to a point where i want to think about one maybe i will but im not making it a must have.

Im pretty sure they do. It makes the most sense from a business standpoint... the drink becomes the trend, everyone starts drinking it. which keeps their costs low and their service high!
I am having a full open bar, a signature drink ( havent decided what yet but i will add 'tini' to my future last name and that will be what we call it LOL!
I am also having the waiters/waitresses serve one jager bomb to each guest at the same time bc it is FH and my favorite shot.. its so trashy but it is sooo us !!

YESSS 100% on open bar!! We could never even think about not having one with the way our guests party!
I am absolutely ging to do a signature drink but I haven't decided on what it will be yet.
Both I and FH's drink is grey goose with club soda and lime but i don't think that makes for a fun signature drink...

Open bar is a def with top shelf liquor. I want to have a signature drink, just not sure what yet. It'll will probably be something that fits our color scheme (purple) and I will have to think of a clever name for it!

I know what you mean. It probably is pointless, but still a cute little addition to put on the menu! :) People will really just be all about the free alcohol in any form. I can't wait!
