Will you be including albums for your parents and FILs in your photography package?
We were thinking about doing this, but it will certainly be easier and cheaper thru a third party website that I can do on my own...and with my photographers quick turnaround time, I can certainly get them their albums pretty fast!

We weren't going to orginally. Like you said we were just going to make one one on a photo website online. But, we ended up booking our videography through our photographer so he included the parents albums in our package for a very fair price.

Yes, this is part of their present since both sides are contributing.

We get a credit from our photographer to use however we want so we will do our book first and then if we have money left over do one for my parents if not we will go through snapfish.

Yes, we are doing three parents albums since mine are divorced. It was included and didnt seem to add much to the cost.

Yes, it is included in my photography package. I am also going to frame some photos for them. I will probably use shutterfly to order the photos.

We didn't commit to any albums in our photography package, we are going to decide after the wedding. it will probably be based on the cost of doing it through our photography or doing it ourselves through something like Shutterfly.. compared to how much debt we are in over the wedding

Yes, we included parent albums in our package. If it was left up to me to do it through a third party website it would never get done lol.

contemplating this right now actually! both sides are contributing so i thought the albums would be a nice gift for them...but we could definitely make something nice (obviously not as nice) for a lot less money...hmmmm
to add them in would probably be about $400 each...is that a fair price?

We originally had 3 parent albums in our pckg (mines aren't together) but after thinking about it some more we decided to cut it out the pckg and add a 2nd videographer for the 1st look and ceremony instead. Will be better to do it on our own and we can put a lot more pictures in the albums.

We have it in our package for now, but we are thinking we will probably nix it. They were pretty pricey through the photographer. For those of you doing it on your own, is there a specific website you are using?? Very curious now!!

We're doing the same. The books our photographer offers are so beautiful that we'll probably end up just going with her, but we are considering other options.

We're doing them, I know its really important to my mom to have the professional album, and since we're not planning on doing video right now (no room in the budget), I want to do it for them. I am planning on making books on Snapfish or something for the grandmothers, and smaller books for the BP as part of a 'thank you' gift'.

We also didn't commit to any albums, but we have the option of adding them on up to five years after the wedding. We'll probably add them on after the wedding, we were just trying to stay within budget for the time being.
