QOTD 8/7
I am involved, but my mom and sister are planning it. I suggested a theme to help if they didn't know what kind of shower I want (my dad actually knows my taste better than they do!). They know I'm not crazy about surprises and that I like to have input - I have to go to New Hampshire (where my family is) for it, so I'll know when it is for sure! Probably just going to do it around Thanksgiving when we go up because trying to go up to NH again before April would be crazy. But idk if there will really be time that wkd and most of my family likes to shop that wkd. When WILL I even be able to go up for a shower in NH with my family?!? Now idk if that's really a feasible plan.
My MIL mentioned something to FH about throwing me one (again, not here - but in CT)...so I won't have any shower down here with my bridesmaids/family/gf's in NY unless my sister or MOH think of throwing me one here (doubtful though), and my aunt certainly would if she wasn't sick. None of my family or friends (or FH's!) are near each other, so I might only have one small shower with my family but I may have as many as 3 small showers! That will be a surprise, which showers, in which locations, with which groups of people actually happen, lol! Anyone else dealing with both your family and FH's family living elsewhere (outside of LI/NY)?
