Good Morning from the Hamptons!! I hope everyone has a Happy (and fast moving) Friday!!! Woohoo! Friday!!
Today is a simple one...
Do you and FH already have a pet together? If not, do you plan on getting a pet once you're married and settled in after the wedding? I know we've done this before, but now it applies to ALL pets! Post pictures if you want.
I always tell FH that if he doesn't buy me a dog, then I'm just going to go out and get one myself!! I recently told him that it would be the PERFECT wedding gift (if we do that).

FH and I adopted a cat together in January of 07. She is our little princess Jasmin. We treat her as if she was a real child This is her sleepin on me when we first got her
no i have a dog now and i live at home and fh hates him lol they are not friends, he just doesnt like pets, he was never around them young
OMG look at that face!!!!! He's so adorable!!!
We don't have a pet yet but after the wedding we plan on getting a Westie. I have a dog at my house now but we don't have one together.

no pets. i realllllly want a puppy!!!! at first i thought we would DEFINATELY get one
but we need to look at where we are living (and their requirements), travel plans and costs...

We are going to have 'joint custody' of my family's dog. I am going to miss her so much when I move out so I've convinced my mom to let me take her every other week or so.
we have two already and plan on getting a third after the wedding. shih tzus are expensive but worth every penny!!
P.S. Do all shih tzus stick their tongues out like that? LOL. Mine never keeps her inside her mouth.

OMG, these doggies are so adorable! We actually have kitty, my cat obviously, and we had Cookie, our teacup Yorkie but the cat basically tortured him and scared him to death, so we gave up Cookie. Kitty is not friendly and he's territorial. But, FH is really unhappy about that and wants a Pitbull/Chihuahua mix, along with a Rottweiler when we move into a house. Love pets!
ETA: I forgot, my dad bought my nearly 10 year old daughter a set of hermit crabs! Kitty watches the tank all day..

I used to hate pets, never had them growing up and just never wanted the responsibility, but FH had 2 cats: Piggy and Seal. and now I am sooooooooo in love with them! they are my little kitt(dd)ies! I also ask FH to get me a dog when we move into a new place, he says ok, we shall see...
your kitties look just like our cat that we had to put down.
the first is of her a year ago. the second is of her at the vet last week.
FH and I have been patiently waiting on a puppy!!! We want a Shiba Inu and checked out a breeder back in June. The puppies were supposed to have been born late August but the mama dog didn't end up going into heat until mid Aug so we're STILL waiting. We are so impatiient. Can't wait to get our little baby!

We have our cat Newton from North Shore Animal League and then we have our puppy Edison from Labs for Rescue, Edison was on death row in Louisana and we saved him....here are some pics

I have one cat - Mudd, and FH has a cat and a kitten - Punk and Ladybird, respectively.
We don't live together, but we're planning on introducing the kitties soon so that they start to get used to each other.

We do! We have 2 bearded dragons and an iguana! I know, not your typical pets....but we love them . We originally got the bearded dragons because we were in our apartment and felt it was too small for a dog. And FH is allergic to cats, so that rules that out. Eventually we'll get a puppy, but right now we're never home and don't think it'd be fair.

yupppers!!! we have a black mini schnauzer named jack (after 24-our fav. tv show)..we've had him for a little over 2 years

yes! we have our 6 mth old pug puppy named Roxy...we got her about 3 mths ago
i think once we get a house we will probably get another doggy.

HAHA, I love the names too!!! Have you guys ever gone down to Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash in Red Bank, NJ? It's Kevin Smith's comic shop. Lots of memorabilia and props from the movies. Not far from the actual store where 'Clerks' was filmed. Check it out!

We don't have a pet yet. We really wanted to get a small dog (I like papillons), but we realized it wouldn't be fair to a dog since we are not home very much. After we have a house, however, and I go back for my PhD, we'll have plenty of dogs! I want four!
