All this talk about walks is my inspiration for the next QOTD!
What are you currently doing, or what do you plan on doing in order to get in shape, or maintain your current weight, or lose weight for your big day?
Currently I'm being a lazy bum, although I know I shouldn't. My FH and I were running together for awhile, but our vacations got in the way of it. We plan on running again, to help him lose weight. I just don't want to gain a single pound before the wedding because I'm paranoid that the dress I bought won't fit!!

I do zumba 3x a week and loosely follow WW. I really need to get a lil more serious though.

This is going to sound really bad but I just had bariatric surgery (as embarassed as i am to say this ) But I had some medical prob's and even with going to the gym and playing sports I was NOT losing weight. But of course that's not to say I don't need to work out. Once I can I will be going to the gym 4x a week (cardio & weight training) and back to softball in the spring. I'm also going to see if i can take up running as a habit.

FH and I had started weight watchers in like March and did so great until the summer started! We've been stuffing our faces since June, and we need to get back on track! So I plan on eating right again and starting to exercise a bit.

it doesnt sound bad! If you medically needed the surgery, then that is that! Good luck with your recovery and I am sure you will be able to get back into working out soon enough.

Currently I'm trying to get back into working out after a couple of crazy weeks with work and traveling. I'm training (or supposed to be) for a half marathon in Oct and then I'll have another one in April.
I'm planning to treat the wedding like a half-marathon so I'll run often and mix in some p90x arms/shoulders/back. I'd also love to be able to afford a trainer at the end of next summer.
FH and will also make a better effort with cooking more at home and cutting out the junk food and takeout!

I really need to join a gym and start going to it. My BM and I said that we'd start going after LDW to get in ' Vegas' and wedding shape so hopefully we stick to the plan.

Re: ~~~***QOTD 9/1/11***~~~
I have been 'watching' what I eat and maintaining my weight.
But I have decided... once I get back from vacation I am going to be serious and start WW again and walking.
I would like to loose 20 pounds before the wedding. I think that is possible. I have 8 months so that means 3 pounds a month

It doesn't sound really bad and you shouldn't be embarrassed at all!

Btw - if anyone wants some help getting a plan together or something. I lost 45 pounds 2 years ago, and have kept it off. It took about 8 months. I would be happy to help whoever I can.

Re: ~~~***QOTD 9/1/11***~~~
I am going to the gym, and I take the dog for walks. I am also trying to watch what I eat, hence the word TRYING. I have an insane sweet tooth, I also work full time at a restaurant and there is only so much grilled chicken a girl can eat!!
I am down 7.5 Pounds but I really want to try and kick it up a notch. I told my Mom and bridesmaids that I wanted to lose 20 pounds before I try on dresses (only 13 more to go!). They think I'm crazy, but I am a bigger girl and I don't want wedding dress shopping to be depressing because nothing looks right on my pleasantly plump figure.
Good luck to all you ladies on your eating habits and gym time!!

Thank you. I appreciate it. I feel like I have been judged by some people around me for taking the easy way out.
