How has your wedding vision changed from when you were a little girl? Did you have big plans then? Are they way different now? ie - dress/ venue/ theme/ colors etc etc

when i was little i wanted a long sleeved, lace dress. no way now! also, im sure my tastes then were way more extravagant for my current pocketbook!

When I was little I just know I wanted some big over the top wedding in a huge princess dress with a tiara hahaha. My cousin had a HUGE wedding back in the early 90s and I was a flower girl in it. There was cocktail hour on a boat and the venue was on the water so I wanted exactly that.
More recently I was kind of torn between a beach/nautical wedding and a vintage/mansion wedding.

When I was little I honestly never thought about my wedding at all. When i was in my late teens and started thinking about it I always thought i wanted a beach wedding but that's so not me and what we have planned is so 'us'...i'm really happy with everything we've chosen so far :)

I never dreamed of my wedding when I was a little girl. I am very happy how my wedding is turning out now though.
