I am big on imaginging situations outside of the norm. So let's pretend that there was no such thing as a white dress on your wedding day....
If your wedding gown could be any color...which color would it be? And would you incorporate white in any way throughout your wedding?
For me this is easy. I tried to get people on board with this but it didn't work. My wedding gown would be black and it would be amazing. I adore black and a that it can't be and that my mother forbade me to have black as one of our colors, not even for the bm dresses. As for the white, I would probably still want white flowers but that's really it!!!!

I would want a green dress. a forest green color - a very deep green. I am not sure what design, but something Oscar carpet worthy: vintage glam, old hollywood white I would not use, instead I will use silver for DOJ and head peice

Probably black or a deep eggplant... even though eggplant isn't my colors I think it looks gorgeous as a gown.
My mom wanted a black gown and my g'ma wouldn't let her. Had I actually really wanted one, I could have had it. My mom lives vicariously through me sometimes. haha

it would need to be a color that looks good on me. i get the most compliments when i wear pink, so i would say something in the pink family (this is why i picked BM dresses in this color too )

While I adore all things pink, I think I look good in a bold blue.
Lucky for me, I'm changing into Indian attire for the reception and while red is the traditional color, I don't necessarily HAVE to wear red - so I may get to wear blue!

hmmm i would say aqua....
especially in the summer time when I have a natural tan with my dark hair, I get so many compliments when I wear that color and I think it looks great on me!!!
if I wear it in the winter months, it makes me look washed out.......

Hmmm...probably black or any other dark color (possibly eggplant - which my bm's are wearing). Darker colors tend to look better on me!

Probably this dress. I want to buy the replica in the worst way possible but I have nowhere to wear it to.
I would still wear white, but if it had to be a different color, I'd say a nice pink.

Re: ***QOTD 9/30****
Since this was my 2nd wedding I really wanted to wear a color dress- maybe like a pale blue. But when I told FH he looked kinda sad and said I thought you would be wearing white. So I compromised and got Ivory. I havent brought it up again so he may still think I am wearing blue, and I am hoping to surprise him when I am walking down the aisle.
