QOTD - Anything you could change about your high school experience...what?

I would have to say, relax a little more. I was a pretty strict student and should have lightened up.

Up until I was 19 - I never spoke up for myself. I lived my teenage years vicariously through friends. While I was very fortunate to fit into almost all crowds, I was always shy and quiet.
Doodles, you spoke my mind, i too would have stood up for myself a little more.

I would not have worried so much. I worried about grades, college, sports, friends etc. I tried to do it all! I just had my 10 year reunion this weekend and it was so much fun! FH and I went together!

I went to an all girls catholic high school...I don't regret that at all, but I do wish we interacted more with boys. Sometimes I still feel socially retarded!
Me too!!! Except I went to Xaverian High School every Friday after school and rolled up that skirt!!!
We always had the Molloy guys hanging outside waiting for us since they got out earlier!

Everything! I hated high school. Where I grew up, it was either you had money or you were nothing, hence, I hated it. I had some good experiences, but overall, it was the worst 4 years of my life. College was so much better. I actually had my 10 year reunion this past weekend too and needless to say I didn't go.

I would say 7th-12th. That's what I would change. I would have not been so damn loud and tough. I would have liked to have been someone who blended in more with a crowd. I was too independent and too strong for my own good. I've calmed down so much, I scare myself.

I loved HS and would do it all over again. I wish I appreciated it more at the time.

I would have chosen to hang out w/ a differnt crowd (not so wild). I would have not partied during the week and tried harder to get straight A's.

i would have been more involved. i was very fickle about what i was involved in... I didn't stick with anything for all four years.

I would not have dated a certain IDIOT from 9th grade to 11th. What a waste of time. Everything else was great though!

I LOVED High School. I think if I could change anything, it would be to push myslef more. I slacked off some and didn't get any scholarship to the college I went to, so I think that maybe would have been nice, and then I would be paying less in student loans.
But hey I had some great times in HS.
Cool Q Deb!

I dont think I would change that much. I was nice to everyone. I was nice to the people that everone was mean to. I was aquaintences with everyone and had few close friends I never liked the girl cliques, i always got along with the boys better. girls are very caddy and i never liked that. I never followed the crowd, drank, did drugs or anything else. I was very into dancing and cheerleading and was varsity captain. If I had to describe myself in one word, I would say NICE. So I guess there is nothing I would change.

i wouldnt change a thing. i spoke to everyone, but knew who my Real friends were. i wasnt all that excited about going to an All girls school at first (and sorry ladies, but the Xaverian guys just didnt do it for me ... though there was one... but thats another story for another time ), but i met such amazing people there. maybe i wouldnt have had an eating disorder sophomore year, but everything, and every experience makes you who you are, and i'm content with the person i've become, so yeah, i wouldnt change a thing

I would have gone to catholic high school after all. I would have stayed away from all the cigarette, pot-smoking, class-cutting kids and not become one myself!
And I sure wouldn't have joined Co-op!!!

Me too but then again I really needed to get that scholarship to go to my dream school. Good thing because then I wound up going to grad school.
I made my closest friends there... still today. I had some great teachers, a few who I stilll stayed in touch with until recently.

I would have gotten more involved. I was involved in my neighborhood through my church's youth group but I didn't stay at school for activities. I would have liked to have been in school plays.
