Since most of us will be moving in with our Future Husbands soon and we will need to pack and downsize our worldly possessions ...What is 1 item you should throw away/sell on ebay/donate to goodwill but probably never will?
For me it would be my giant collection of Sleeping Beauty Memorabilia. It started when I was in Junior High School and has become an obsession for me. I have tons of figurines, pictures, dolls, and of course a giant wall hanging rug that I have no where to put or think i ever will. I hope there is a strange bird out there just like me and wants to buy a ton of my pieces on Ebay soon LOL

I already live with FH, but when I moved in, I knew I should have thrown away papers I have written all the way back to high school. I am not a pack rat and have everything neatly filed away, but seriously, who needs papers written from high school. I did manage to throw out my JHS ones. And soon will get rid of the high school one.

i have a bunny rabbit that i have slept with since forever its so creepy looking now its missing eyes and its head is falling off and its very ratty from being washed many times. My dad has tried to get rid of it from like 12 on. now that i live with FH he thinks its really creepy and doesn't like it in the bed so i keep her next to the bed until i get scared but i am a big girl now and i should not be sleeping with stuffed animals

ok this is bad.
I have my wedding dress I got married in to my ex in the basement in a trunk.
I'm scared to look at it. It's probably gross and moldy and nasty. I mean...it's in a trunk in the basement!
I resent that dress. My Mom picked it out..she picked everything out for that wedding. It was her wedding not mine...hence the reason I'm not involving her this time.

well I 'got rid' of stuff when FH and I moved in together (it's all shoved upstairs in my mom's attic LOL)... but she has been bitchin about me coming over and throwing everything out that I don't want. I'm honestly fine with throwing out most things but I think one thing I will not be able to throw out are my childhood stuffed doggie, Scratchy and my blanket that my grandma knitted for me (I'm sorry but you just can't throw things like that away!)

We already live together, but I have a storage box that is basically full of my teenage years. I have old birthday cards, notes from HS, picture albums, yearbooks, old report cards everything! I do have some collectible pogs, snap bracelets, and a tamagotchi from elementary school LOL
It's under our bed, but I will go into an attic once we get a house.

i'm not a pack rat at all. my room is very minimalist. i have exactly what i need and nothing more. i didn't keep anything from ex boyfriends over the years or toys from my childhood. i have the memories, i don't think i need the physical things to remind me. So everything i have now, will come with me. i do have a lot of picture frames that are all being currently used, so maybe some of those will have to stay behind.

I have a teddy bear I got when I was 19 days old (it was my first christmas present) and FH loathes the thing. Its got all different color stitching on it where it has ripped over the years, but I can't throw it out- its like a security blanket. It is on a shelf in my closet and comes out when I am sick or having a bad day for comfort reasoning- but FH really wants to get rid of it.

My FSIL has tons of sleeping beauty stuff. You can not walk a step in her romm without seeing something new. I don't think she will ever get rid of her stuff.
I have a pig stuffed animal. My dad gave er to me when my mom and sisters were going away on our first trip without him. I'm a daddys girl and will never get rid of her. She has been everywhere, even camping. This is the first year a went on a trip without her, FH laughs at me when I carry her on the airplane.

omg me too...i left sooooo much stuff at my mom's house when FH & I moved in together. I really have to get back there and throw away/donate most things...gonna take forever!!!!
the one thing I'll never get rid of is a stuffed bunny from my grandma. Its the first thing she gave my mom when she was pregnant with me and I used to sleep with it every night - can never get rid of it!

I still have an old baby blanket from when i was born..i REFUSE to get rid of it..FH thinks im crazy...it use to be filled with stuffing and have balloons on it...now the balloons have faded and the stuffing is just gone, but i sleep with it every night, plus FH travels ALOT so i sleep home all alone very often, so its comforting to still have it ..i know im such a baby..but it still keeps away the monsters when i need it too lol

same here! my mom is actually moving next month so she's like you HAVE to come go through this stuff! there's not a lot there, just some pictures from college and other random BS. i don't really remember what I got rid of when FH and i moved in together, it was so long ago!

I need to donate all my clothes that would only fit one of my A$$ cheeks in, Unfortunately I am not a teenager anymore and it doesn't look cute!!!!!!!!!! Ah, the memories of walking around NYC barefoot after dancing all night at the hottest club!!!!!!!!!

This was me as well. I had a few storage bins of stuff from when I was a kid. Nothing all that important, just stuff that I had. I kept it in the garage of my house, but my garage is bigger that FH's house. So I went through it all and downsized to one bin.
