QOTD August 26, 2011!

I'm sure this has been asked a ton of times here, but I think it is something fun that we all like to talk and reminisce about...

How did you and your fiance (or hubbie) meet?

We met in law school. He was a year behind me (I went straight through to law school from college and he took a year off). I was an editor on a law journal and he was one of my staffers - so, I was his boss!!

Haha...nice!!! He got to nab his boss!

We actually met on MySpace. lol

We started talking because he had a motorcycle, I loved them and liked to ride and wanted my own. I was tired of being a passenger...oh and he was HOT! So he helped me get my licence and buy my first bike (even rode it home like a maniac with no plates for me...lol) Then it just blossomed from there and 3 years later here we are!

College,

we both played lacrosse at CWPost

we were at a party and he asked me to be his beer pong partner, i was so bad he kicked me out after the first round.

then my dorm caught on fire and he had no where to stay (he lived off campus) so i offered my room ( he stayed on the couch i swear! )

and its been downhill eversince

My space.

Had a blind date and here we are. We did have a 4 month break in between all, but our love was stronger.

Over a game of flip cup at a dive bar in DC. We were trash talking and then he quote Caddyshack, and I finished the quote. He was impressed.

We both know that I am the better flip cup player

Yeppers.

We met through a mutual work friend out a bar one night. My friend had been trying to hook me up with another guy there that night, but I fell for FI and after chatting here and there for a month ,we went on our first date Best first date I ever had!

Same here!!!

Wow! All these internet success stories. I love it!

We went to HS together and had the same friends, but didn't want anything to do with eachother. We did think eachother was attractive, but had our own things going on all the time. We were also two very different people then... Re-met after 5 yrs and college at a local bar, talked on Facebook for a few weeks. (We were both at a point in our lives that we were so sick of BS and didn't want a relationship). He finally asked me to go out with him and some friends. I made him pick me up! Worked out though, because we were talking at the bar for hours and noticed that all of our friends left! We stayed out really late and had our first kiss in my parents driveway. It was clear that it wasn't that we didnt want a relationship, we just needed to find the right one... Everything went so fast after that!

College I thought he looked like a narcissistic baseball ******. Turns out he ain't so bad

he's been smitten, but you haven't?

I met DH at the nutty irishman in bay shore. I wasn't even going to go out but it was my friends 21st. I was supposed to be there with a guy I was seeing but he had two kids and his ex needed him to take them.

DH asked me to dance, took my number and called the next day! He was drunk and couldn't really remember me but we hit it off. The other guy couldn't figure out why I suddenly wouldn't hang out with him anymore!
