QOTD - BC As Wedding Draws Near

FH has ALWAYS been fanatical about birth control however it seems since we started wedding planning he occaisionally throws caution to the wind (

Iam not on birthcontrol anymore but we try to be careful. I actually have major baby fever lately!! LOL. I gues its that my whole bridal party has babys except one. Iam surrounded by them! LOL

More careful. I never used to really worry about that (I was on BC but always thought it would never happen to me) but as soon as I hit the 9 months to go mark i started freaking out every month, especially around 8-10 months till the wedding. I just got AF yesterday, so that means if we do have an oops I'd be about 3 months -- I wouldn't be showing much, but I *REALLY* dont want a baby any time soon. I have one year left of law school and want to be able to work at least a few years first.

I'll probably worry a little less about it after the wedding, but I really really want to wait 4-5 years

I guess it's easier for us to 'throw caution to the wind' more because he's 95% responsible for the BC (I occaisionally use something OTC).

I stress no matter what - if I'm late, I stress and when I do eventually get it, I stress over the fact 'maybe I can't get pg'.

I'm on the pill..Fh feels like if it happens, it happens. Me, not so much. I want to enjoy being married for about year first. Plus my family is sooo old school italian..they'd FREAK!

But he'd like me to stop taking the pill in January, 09. We'll see where we are at that point.

At around the nine month mark I lost my mind. I was so paranoid and I was more careful then i have ever been.

To be honest, I thought it would be different now that we are married. BUT we are having such a wonderful time I would be so upset if we did anything to mess that up right now, ESPECIALLY getting pregnant. So we are still being careful!
