So FH and I went to a wedding at our RH last night and there was quite a show put on by one of the guests that was wasted..... She was 'that girl'. Very embarassing.
This leads me to the question for today......
Are you concerned about any of your guests drinking too much? Is there anyone in particular that you are more worried about??
I feel so badly for the bride. When she gets tha video....oh man.....
I'm not too worried. I have one friends that got wasted at another friends wedding and he was unbearable.....I'm sure he will be 'that guy' at my wedding.....but other than that....maybe FOB and FOG.....they can really toss em back when they are together......

Steph- Sooo happy your FH is in NY for good! Hope the wedding was great at your RH despite the drunken festivities hahah...
to answer your questions- I'm not too concerned with people drinking too much...our wedding is on a sunday and although its over by 9 i dont think i'll have the same drunkeness as i would on a sat...not to say that I still hope people have fun. i'm a little worried about one of my BMs since she gets a little roudy and slaps ppl's butts when she drinks!!! but i think i could handle that....hopefully everyone else will be buzzing but not ridiculous!

I'm not worried about any of my guests getting crazy but if they do...they will immediately be taken home. You have your happy drunk and you have your angry drunks...I'd prefer be people to be buzzed and not drunk....

I am def worried about this and have told several ppl they have to watch out for this. My FH's step mom who is a complete b**** and I really dont like her bc she is always drunk and saying all these snippy comments. I had a talk w FH's dad already. Oh just to give u a little of what she says to me when I do go over and visit its always about how men **** and that I should not get married and how much of a loser my FH and his dad are. real nice person... I have also told my parents that if she tries to ruin my wedding she is getting kicked out. I went to FH's cousins wedding w her and all she did the whole time was complain to us... other than her I have no other worries. The e party should be interesting.

I should be worried, but I'm not.
All my friends and some family members have been known to get fall-down drunk.
Frankly I've been known to do this too.
I've already been asked about the open bar.
There are 3 bars, with top shelf liquor served that will be open all night.
I want people to get a little drunk, that's half the fun of a wedding imo.
But I'm not too worried lol

Our guests are really amusing when they are buzzed at the very least, so I'm not too concerned. It should make the party interesting. I do have one guest that can go either way- fun drunk or angry drunk- so I'm hoping there's no drama with that. But I'd like to think that he/she is classy enough not to cause problems on our wedding day...but...you never know.

I'm worried about a friend of mine because she is very flitatious and when she get's drunk it's worse. I'm definitely going to have a long talk with her before the wedding.

I come from a huge irish wedding and thats what ends up happening. I'm not worried it will ruin it. I know how they all get. They all get lovey dovey. Only thing I am worried about is my dad. My parents have been divorced since i was born. Never really had a relationship with him until my sister passed away last year. Since then he's been sober. Im not worried about him drinking, just the awkwardness of it!! Also my cousins are known for getting to rowdie at the RD and then not feeling so hot the night of the wedding. SOOOO I am making sure my RD is a sit down dinner, not a small party that we have done in the passed! When it comes down to it all our weddings are going to be amazing! I'm not going to sweat it now.

I am worried a little about a few people in my BP... they've all been warned a) because I want nice pictures for the entire night and b) I'm worried about people getting home ok, I can't afford to shuttle everyone everywhere, ya know? And I don't want to feel bad when I find out someone's puking int he bathroom, which is what a couple of my friends tend to do every time they drink It makes it not so fun to go out, you know?And they know I hate when that happens, I've never drunk so much that I've been sick all night and my friends had to hold my hair back while I puked... gross... it will NOT happen at my wedding.
I'm not Bridezilla type at all, but this is one thing I'll be upset about.

yup I am worried..already spoke to FH about this but he assured me that it's a wedding & they won't be obnoxious. I'm going to tell FSIL's SIL who works there to have people look out for them & throw them out if they do anything inappropriate..dreading that part of worrying..

I know we have some drinkers at the party but I don't think anyone will get too crazy at the actual reception to the point of embarrasment... i think if we have an after party though, than it no holds barred lol

This is the funniest question...I already told FH to have the talk with some of our friends (the guys) and I will have it with the girls
We have a handful of friends that like to get their drink on
On the + side we were at a friends wedding and everyone was pretty well behaved
So I have my fingers crossed

I'm not really concerned. I feel that this is something you can't control. You are not able to watch everyone and how much they are drinking. As long as everyone is having a good time and nobody gets into a stupid drunken fight I am happy. lol

I'm not overly concerned, but I will make sure keys are taken away if it gets to that point. I'd rather them pay the extra money and stay in a hotel then try to drive home. but hopefully that doesn't happen...
