Are you doing anything special for your parents at the reception??
I will have an embroiderd hankerchief for each of the moms at there place setting for them to open as a surprise. I may also make a speech for my mom.

I don't think we're doing anything crazy either. While we get along w/ our parents (most of the time) and we love them and all - neither one of us are super close w/ them. We're going to get them something at the rehersal dinner and write a nice note to them. Otherwise they will be escorted down the aisle, announced at the reception and the mother/son, father/daughter dance. That will probably be it.

I'm just getting my parents the usual gift at the Rehearsal Dinner other than that, I haven't thought of doing anything special for them. It would probably be nice though....
It is really sweet that you are doing that for them. Sometimes, I think I need to be more personal and less general when thinking about my wedding.
