Hello ladies TGIFFFF!!! can you tell im excited about the weekend!!

Lets go back in time for some of us years!!

How did you meet FH?? Were you introduced by friends, a chance meeting, high school sweetheart?

How do your personalities differ?

Does it make you more compatable?

was it love at first sight or friendship at first?


: I met Fh he was bouncer at mirage (Glo) he looked so mean standing next to me, we started talking about some wacko on the dance floor and we were inseprable ever since, i offset his laid back personality and he love my loud mouth!!

i wouldnt say it was love at first sight but i definately knew he was something!!

DH & I met during our first year of law school. Def not love at first sight for me. I hate him....thought he was a bit cocky...

We ended up talking before classes and then started dating shortly after.

FH and I met in 9th grade...we became best friends then started dating in 10th grade...LOL

Our personalities are SOOO different...he is outgoing/spontaneous/risk taker and I am shy/organized/needs a plan. I think because we are so different it works...we have had some fights and real doozys over our differences but for the most part I think it makes us a better couple.

It was love at first sight for both of us...although it took him about a year to work up the nerve to tell me...we always had chemistry and when we were together no one else existed....so def. love at first sight!!!

FH and I met in 9th grade. I was the new girl in the neighborhood and in school. FH lived around the block from me and we met at the bus stop. After we met he would walk me to and from the bus stop every day. We became best friends and all throughout high school my friends would tell me that they thought he liked me but I never saw him that way and he never pursured me in that way. After we graduated he professed his love for me in a letter and we started dating. Then shortly after we began dating he moved to Florida to live with his mom so we broke up. We tried to stay in touch but eventually our friendship faded away. Fast forward to August 2006....I saw his brother on myspace and contacted him to get FH's number. Once we got in touch with each other again it was like those 8 years disappeared and we knew that we wanted to be together again. So in October 2006 FH packed his stuff and moved to NY to be with me and now we are getting married.

Our personalities are very similar, although, I am much more organized and financially responsible but we balance each other.

It def. wasn't love at first sight for me because I never saw him that way but when we reconnnected again after all of those years we immediately knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

We met while i was working at a law firm that he is presently still at. At first it was just friendship since i was dating someone else but i soon realized that i had met a sweet guy that wanted the same things i wanted so i dumped the other guy lol who was a jerk anyway. Then FH and I started talking more and more on the phone since we had exchanged numbers and decided to go on a date and the rest is history .

I tend to be more laid back he can get more testy over little things. We do balance each other because i have to keep him grounded even he thinks its the other way around lol.

FH and I were set up on a blind date by my sister's best friend who works with him. She had been trying to set us up for 4 or 5 years and I kept saying 'not interested.' Finally one day, I caved. We went out on a date and that was it. I just knew.

Our personalities are polar opposites. The things he worries about, I don't even think about and vice versa. We definitely ground each other. And the best part, we keep each other laughing!

we met when we were 12..just childhood friends..then we became best friends in high school..way b4 anything happened

i can honestly say i am marrying my best friend

as for our personalities..we r the same exact person lol....can be a great thing or sometimes a pain in the butt..cause we both like to be right lol

I've known FH my whole life. My dad and his mom grew up in the same housing projects as kids and the two families remained close as adults. So we were always at BBQ's together and such. His mom passed away when he was 14 and he stopped coming around for a few years, then my aunt passed away in 2001 and he came to the wake. As soon as he walked in I knew I was meant to be with him! It was strange because I had never thought of him that way in the past. After the wake I gave his older sister my number to give to him. He called like a week later and we went out on our first date on September 7th 2001, to Adventureland!

I don't think we were in love at first sight but I do think we knew right away that we would end up in love.

In some aspects we're the same, like we both are really close to our families, and we're both homebodies. I think our biggest differences are that he is a saver and I'm a spender and I'm a pessimist and he's the forever optimist. We really balance each other out.

Sorry that was longer than I expected!

DH & I were introduced by friends. My friend from HS, and his friend from college, both were arrested for drinking & driving. They had to attend some mandatory county class to get there drivers license back. That is where they met. Then they decided to play match maker & introduce us. We started dating, and drifted away from them as friends.

I am very organized, stress easily, type A. DH is more easy going. I think we bounce off each other. I make sure we get things done, and he makes sure we have fun. He defin keeps me grounded. He is such a goof ball. I am always running late, DH is always early. I am always what if this, what if that, and he is everything is going to fall into place. I think we really balance each other out.

I think we clicked right away. The first night we met, we sat for hours at the beach near my house, and just talked. We were instantly comfortable with one another. I felt like I had known him forever. Is that love at first sight?
